Something tells me unai Emery may bring Samuel chukwueze to Aston villa. Most coaches love working with their former players.

That works for their outstanding players not those not rated by the manager.

Then even if it were possible, who will he bench realistically speaking.

UCL round of 16 draw

Club Brugge vs Benfica
Frankfurt vs Napoli
Inter Milan vs Porto

Two Nigerian players should make it to the next round

He wants where the money is.
He doesn't want to play second fiddle to anybody (He is not interested in bench roles)
what money is in Croatia? If he’s looking for money in Europe Turkey is his sure plug for that but Croatia? I never hear that one before. A professional footballer isn’t interested in bench roles? Then he has no business playing football, even Ronaldo is competing to get regular game time, nobody will hand you game time on a platter you have to earn it

Awaziem, Balogun, Omeruo.

Omeruo and Awaziem are like expired drugs and if not expired there are far better and more improved drugs that render them obsolete.

And yes Calvin is far better than them all.

Money made him leave Boavista.
Money made him go to Turkey.

Starting roles (regular football) made him go to Croatia

Rivers United are raising alarm. They were attacked by their opponent's fans with stones, bottles and others during training. They left the training and the attackers still followed them to their hotel. They claimed no security outfit was attached to their team.

I think the lasting solution to all these rubbish is for the North Africans to join their Arab brothers in Asia and leave us alone. It is now obvious the CAF is powerless against them.

They will continue to do it until we retaliate in a grand manner. Funny thing is that they will cry to caf should we do the same to them just like they cried to fifa when Senegal returned back the favor during the final round of the wc qualifiers. Bloody northerners

I mean, this isn't a FIFA mandated international break so it's the lowest in the weighted scale for international matches.

Unrelated topic, Firmino misses out of Brazil WC team. Personally I would take Firmino over Richarlison or Martinelli. Just a personal opinion.

Also Brazil is taking just 6 midfielders to the WC from a 26 man squad. Using that, I would say if we have a 23 man squad for us for example, there should be about 5 midfielders invited for us, not three as we sometimes do. Anyways am tempted to stroke controversy too and advocate for an Nwakali invitation, Ndidi, Iwobi, Aribo. Onyedika, Nwakali. Tough call to drop Onyeka for me, my reasoning is that Ndidi. Onyedika and Onyeka offer almost similar attributes and no point having 3 players with the same skillset. These are all my opinions o

Meanwhile with Aribo's coach now fired, let's see what that bodes for Ayo.

Nwakali is not good enough.

His league is largely on the level of league one or lower. If he is doing good it's because the league is poor.

Thanks for airing your opinion sir. When Nunez played in that same league, he became an Uruguayan int'l, so if Uruguay who have a richer soccer history than us can use someone when he was in that league, what stops us? From that same league, the "useless" Sadiq got a move to a big club in La Liga. Like I said earlier, na my own opinion but I respect yours too.

Peace!!!

If Spain 2nd division is poor then why is England relegated from nations league group A

Spain is in the semi-final

Stop saying rubbish...

Impressive. Joseph seem to set good chances with her left foot. Then the Emmanuel babe got good long range shot. One thing dey pain me sha-Flourish no dey shine for this tournament. Juliet needs to really be clinical and hope she gets better with end product. I love Wadi's corner kick that Bawou saved. Nice execution.

But in all these cases they were outstanding in the league.

Nunez was a teenage prodigy that had not played a season of first team football in his home country Uruguay.

Comes to the moi moi Segunda division as essentially a youth players and is joint 4th in first season. The rest is history.

Sadiq had played 7 seasons of football in Europe and found the Segunda division the perfect anchorage to move forward with limited quality.

Nwakali is not outstanding in the league, some people here give him accolades the minute he wears his team jersey. He is just making up numbers and hasvbeen for the past seven years in Europe.
