damrmd02: Although the probability of getting it may not be as high for first-timers as it is for frequent travelers, people are still getting it. Don’t discourage yourself with fears. All you need to do is package your application really well. Include all the necessary documents you can think of. Show evidence of strong home and economic ties. Also, don’t forget to back up your application with a convincing introduction or cover letter to explain your application. Remember that the frequent travelers of today all started from somewhere, so give it a try. 2 Likes |

Really bizarre behaviour. My last two visas were processed in three days but the validity date was different from the day it was stamped. E.g. the very last one's validity commenced in September (3 months after it was approved). Let's be respectful and ask clarifying questions before dropping flippant remarks. pufframmy: |

I just did a quick check Lagos & Abuja and for first timers tourism category, there are no options available. If you don't fall under this category see attached screenshots for reference. With the earliest availability being 29/12 for categories except the frequent business option in Lagos (and in Abuja 4th January) I am not optimistic about meeting your Dec travel target. Re: Securing Visa To France, Applying From Nigeria... by Portblueholland: 10:33am On Nov 11, 2022 |
They haven’t changed their processing times though. My mother submitted her application on the 4Th of November and she got the visa yesterday the 10Th. The passport didn’t get to the embassy till Monday (7Th November) because of the weekend so processing time was roughly 2 days. She got a Multiple long term visa to visit me and the family in the Netherlands. We used the EU route as myself and my wife are both EU citizens so she didn’t have to pay for the visa. I was shocked the visa was even granted that fast. She was denied Schengen visa 6 years ago though. Hope you get yours soon. davodyguy: |
