For the national teams,I'll agree... But you see our local clubs ehn.. the foundation of our league is rotten and it's affecting the clubs themselves..

If Rivers United should lose 6-0 today, make I see wetin go cause am..

Look the Nigerian league player does not understand things like zonal marking in football.
The npfl coaches are simply horrible and don't teach the players anything.
For example if in a secondary school the students fail waec every year then the teachers in the school are not good.
Npfl players fail at any challenge. From Chan to club football to the national team. Let us see what rivers united does and their performance playing with Costa rica

They are playing really well. This team really deserved to be in the Champions League. Sadly the Egyptian referee robbed them of it. It's probably why CAF made the referee adjustment this time; the north Africans officiated in Nigeria why west Africans I believe will officiate in Libya.
Just here there was applause

The way losses de distort fans vision for here en

Like European teams don't throw away leads

They didn't even need to score anything. They just had to be disciplined 10 more minutes and ensure they didn't concede. They could.

You're right. Everything is just not right.
Their mentality is on code red.

I won't be surprised if Rivers crashed out this night too. I'm beginning to wonder if the alarms these Nigerian clubs do raise is just to save face.

This Rivers United game is very funny o.. Coach collapsed, ball boy running inside the pitch to put ball down, fans throwing bottles, Al Nasr players playing at high tempo.... cheesy comedy!

Time waits for no MAN.

Express wan leave you , infact he has been left out and left behind..

And you are saying he should take his time, Dude is not a youth player.

Thank God Jamie Vardy did not listen to this kind of mentality.

Kelechi Nwakali needs to keep pushing. The talent is there. The intellect is there. He is needs to maintain his high standards on the pitch and training, and things will fall into place with time.

Remember you thought express had left Sadiq Umar.

When I say your emotive and entirely sentiment based with a huge dose of unbridled favouritism.

You have ⚓ anchored your comparison proposition on wind and fresh air, it's nonsensical.

Jamie Vardy was released by Sheffield Wednesday at 16. He had no pedigree ,he had to start from the bottom in non- league football and fight his way out of non league with consistent outstanding exceptional performance.

He went from non league to Championship with a transfer fee of £1 million, a record at that time. To date he has been a consistent outstanding exceptional performers over a decade ,10 years plus in the EPL and counting.

There is no comparison between the career trajectory of Vardy and Nwakali. One has been moving upwards and breaking record's.

Nwakali has been consistently underperforming since he left youth football. He got his contract prematurely terminated , why because he was so Good ❓

He is in a low quality league where his relegation bankruptcy team will struggle in English League two. He has found his level in mediocrity league.

Bu the way I said that Sadiq Umar was very poor and would not survive in English League one. An opinion held by management as well as fans.

It will not be wise if he joins them especially when Napoli is top of Serie A and in the January window..

He needs a league title to his name and Napoli understands his injury issues more than any team same way Almeria understood Sadiq injury issues and would have rested him...

Salisu is best indigenous coach we get at the moment. They tried but apparently lack fitness. They've really gassed out and praying fervently for Ref to blow end of first half.

This is same reason Plateau lost disgracefully. Fitness shouldn't be an excuse, our local players must be committed to it.

They should avoid alcohol and foods that would be affecting their fitness. I hope they gonna rest well and come out flying high in the 2nd half.
