Please people, I'm expecting a payment in US dollars and I have been hearing different rates through the week. Someone even told me that a dollar now is N1,000 so please I just want to have an idea of today's rate from those aboki exchangers (black market).

There is real pressure right now because of the proposed currency redesign.

It will only get worse because the problem has not been solved. Any reversal you see is a simple correction. It's around 850.

This is true. However, bear in mind that the decline is only for a moment.

Normally every mid November till Xmas , dollars rate usually falls and this is due to inward remittances . So this trend is nothing new , it always picks up and rise in January when ppl people are returning back to bases abroad
