Lagos should come to the rescue ASAP..
We don't need someone who will take Nigeria to this kind of fall, we need someone like tinubu, the master planner.

Is it functional? And how many Lagosians enjoy water from this source? Kindly mention those areas for confirmation by those who reside there.

Bro you know it very well. You won't believe how much I spend weekly!! My wife went to market recently and 2000 cedis had no impact!! I went to the kitchen and was like "babe you didn't go to the market again"? She went but bro a bag of nigerian rice now sells at 700 cedis in madina market and 25kg of vegetable oil sells at 600 cedis now how much is left? No matter how bad things are in nigeria, you won't say 200k naira won't stock your kitchen
2000 cedis is about 200k naira…

I thought cooking at home will reduce cost. But buying food stuff is equally expensive. I don’t even think the difference is much. The only advantage is I get to cook my food to my taste.

It’s not funny at all. The sad part is it will get worse.

Unfortunately for the zombies, we are learned enough to see failure and mediocrity for what they are!

Only true and proven failures spend more time looking for justifications for their shortfalls instead of constantly looking for ways to do better!

It is well

You know what's funny, na me and you dey suffer am here,

I can bet you, that your quote " it is well " was a real genuine one, you just reflected on our economy here in Nigeria.

Like I said na me and you dey suffer am, I don't think the amount you buy your food stuff is lesser than mine neither is flight and fuel issues different from your area.
when bandit abduct people they don't touch your party members? Are you people immune to all this suffering going on in Nigeria?

I know the job is tough, you have been in this job for close to 6 years plus, I hope what you earn is worth it. Because it will be so disappointing that after all this years of publicly defending the undefinable and you haven't enrich yourself allowing politicians using your future, I hope it is worth it.

If I were you it is time to quit and turn a new leaf and fight for a better Nigeria, if Nigeria is good today it is good for me and you.

You are afraid maybe if power change hands your source of live hood will go, but I bet you if power change hands and go back to the people, you will look back all this years that has gone by and you would realise that you where a slave.

We need change and it starts from me and you, tell yourself the truth all this thing na because of SAPA you dey do am for. Its time to work and earn with dignity my friend.

Poverty, hunger , road accidents e know they look face e no sabi hausa e no sabi igbo e no sabi Yoruba.

No matter the money you have you are also a victim e must dey affect you directly or indirectly.

I come in peace.

Lait five project Tinubu started and finished. If working hard was his criteria of chosing a leader, how come Ambode that did a lot of good work was denied his second term?
I was still in Lagos during Tinubu tenure, it was all about OPC and touts terrorizing people in Lagos

Bro, Tinubu is obviously overrated by idiots on Nairaland... But, make no mistake, he is still miles ahead of most past Southeast governors!

This is not something we should even bicker over.

This happened in developed countries but did same happen in Africa. Maybe the money got pumped into pockets of politicians.

Africa's inflation is likely imported since we import almost everything.

Its always good to be current...yes it happened everywhere.. even as clueless as emefiele is...he pumped out money in terms of loans into the economy...we have people who got it here...
He also started forcing the banks to give loans to stiimulate the economy

So please before you decide to go and burn the CBN office in Lagos...please check

APC wants to use this information too justify their wickedness on Nigerians - you can see them all over the thread, Don't fall for it...

On a normal day are we supposed to even be comparing Nigeria and Ghana based on what we have as resources - both Human and Natural

Inflation is a global problem right now. Energy costs are up everywhere and Chinese production has fallen dramatically. It is not limited to Nigeria. There are many things you can still use against this government but inflation is not one of them.

Remember that our inflation is imported and UK is at a 50 year high and the US a 39 year high. So when the goods you import are already heavily marked up, there is nowhere to hid for Nigeria or any other African country.

The only reason you can say that is because of the part of the country he came from. If Tinubu was an igbo man, all his assets would have been frozen, his immediate family members will even be the ones to tell the government. You can count the number of SW politicians that have had their assets frozen or taken away from them.
I repeat, he would have been reduced to his exact size in the SE or SS

We’re exactly are you…

The equivalent of 1000 naira is about 10 cedis…

As for purchasing power naira is better.

If you eat 10 cedis food in Ghana you will not get satisfied. You have not even started. that’s for a meal. I can bet 1000 naira can get you at least two meals.

A bottle of beer is 9 cedis… equivalent of about 900 naira at the road side bar. Not some posh club o!

So that should give you a perspective of the purchasing power of both currencies.

No mind the guy. He doesn't know the meaning of purchasing power, he just threw the word in trying to sound intelligent.

Tinubu is APC leader. If he is this good, this government would not have failed. I know gullible people will always say He is not the president.

While not supporting Tinubu, but stupidity like this should be called out. Is Tinubu the president? Does the bulk stop at his table? Even the VP doesn't have a say in decision making, he can only advise the president. At the end of the day, the president calls the shot.

How easy do you think it is to get 1000 cedis compared to getting 1000naira?

1000 cedis is teachers monthly salary in Ghana

1000cedis is what people currently use to buy fuel for five days over there

Fuels sells for over 1000naira over there

Forget about exchange rate, naira has far far more purchasing power than the cedi
so it is very east to get 1000 naira in this country
