Portblueholland:
They haven’t changed their processing times though. My mother submitted her application on the 4Th of November and she got the visa yesterday the 10Th. The passport didn’t get to the embassy till Monday (7Th November) because of the weekend so processing time was roughly 2 days. She got a Multiple long term visa to visit me and the family in the Netherlands. We used the EU route as myself and my wife are both EU citizens so she didn’t have to pay for the visa. I was shocked the visa was even granted that fast. She was denied Schengen visa 6 years ago though. Hope you get yours soon.
Thanks. Here are few things.

1. I'm applying for Italy, not France.
2. France is a relatively fast judging by experiences from people on this thread.
3. Italy and Spain appears to have some delays.
4. For your mum's case, the EU approach you used, was the reason for the speed.

The Italy visa thread on Nairaland appears dead and France thread here is the one most of us use to pass our messages, that's why I am here

If it was France, we would have received our visas since last week

I need the help of experienced people here.

I have a 2 years Uk visa and obviously categorized as a frequent traveler for france schengen application. I did apply for france Visa, and i was reject on the basis that “ the information submitted for justification of stay was not reliable” . I actually did submit booked tours from viator and wrote a cover letter to explain how i tour each day of my stay in france. What could i have done wrong? Regarding all other requirements of visit visa, they were actually met and submitted.
Kindly advice and for anyone who needs help getting faster france appointments in VFs lagos i can help out.

What's your source of income to sponsor?

Did you prove any strong ties to Nigeria
Are you single or married?
Self employed or employee

I suspect they think you would not return back to Nigeria

I submitted the lounge picture and me infront of the lounge signing a deal with a company and I submitted its CAC, company bank statement and personal which shows how I withdrew myself and transfer to my personal account. I am also married, have 2 kids and i submitted all related documents plus i have a house on the island which I submitted survey and deed of assignment. I really didn't know what they got wrong

Business visa is mostly given, are you intending traveling for conference, event or you want to buy goods ? They are different processes

Is different process and it’s requirements are tedious but people use tourist visa to get that done if is just to pick things you can check in. Meanwhile google is your friend I don’t know much about traveling to purchase goods abroad. Most people here go for tourist or conference.

Check the status of your CAC on public search if it’s inactive it might be the reason go and pay your annual return to make it active apply again even the uk now refuse visa because of this

For business, you might need a letter from your partner abroad.

Otherwise, use tourist

France don’t check CAC status only UK do

I was shocked when I heard that about UK.

They are just using that to generate income for FIRS and the government, cause late filling of annual returns attracts penalty.

Many companies are doing fantastically, but don't even remember file annual returns

Really bizarre behaviour.

My last two visas were processed in three days but the validity date was different from the day it was stamped. E.g. the very last one's validity commenced in September (3 months after it was approved).

Let's be respectful and ask clarifying questions before dropping flippant remarks.

A friend of mine validity start 5 months after approval. It didn't align with his intial intended date to travel.

Hello house, please I want to ask, my wife has a registered company and it’s VENTURES so I want to know if there’s need for anyone to write any introduction letter on her behalf or just a cover letter is enough for her

I mean the kind of business.

Some of these VO would screen you up to the kind of business you own.

For instance, if your organization is like a professional form like Chartered accounting, Law Firm, Real Estate Company, Oil company etc with good in flow and outflow, you'll definitely stand a better chance than some kind of organizations in different line of business.

France is dashing visa now.

They also feed on Tourism.

Two years ago, COVID-19 messed up everything.

Having being to Paris before, I would have reapplied, but opted for Italy this time

It's always advisable that someone else that is a senior person in your organisation to write this letter.

In my case, the Admin/HR would write letter of introduction, then I would write a cover letter to make two

congrats on your visa approval. How did you book tour package? Did you pay for the tour activities or you only made reservation and which website did you use?

I'm still waiting for response from the Italian Embassy, even though it's more than 15 days.

On Viator, there are book now pay later options.

Filter your search to book now pay later, same applies to Hotel booking
