Happy Sunday all,

Please I want to ask if the primary applicant is required to write a consent letter for the dependants to use the funds (POF) as part of the submission or just the evidence of the bank statement can be uploaded for each dependant as a proof of consent.

Yes, Consent letter from main applicant plus bank statement.

Good evening all.
I posted the last time about my two previous visa denials and my plan to apply for a student visa in UK now.
In the last application in August, l had used my regular account for salaries and other sundries. Now for the student visa, the POF I intend to use is in a different account but still in my name.
Do I still present the earlier account as well as the one with the POF.
Of note is that reason for the last refusal was that I didn't explain the money that entered the account.

I encountered similar situation while applying to a school. I ended up providing a recent English Proficiency Letter from my Undergraduate department. You can get one from either your undergraduate school, department or even from your Course Advisor. Be sure to ask them if it would be allowed though.

Thank you

The consent for home office to verify application information is for you to download and sign ( this is found while filling dependant visa application).

Consent for your dependants to use the funds in your account, is written and signed by you. There are lots of samples online.

Thanks @badoh. I finally got someone abroad to pay with his card and it went through. Don't know if that TLS sight does not accept Nigeria Dom account cards or whether I over did my limit paying for visa fee and IHS

Good morning. Please I still need some answers to this.
Is it okay to submit the two accounts?
What will be the positives or negatives doing so?
Do I need to explain why I didn't use the POF account in my earlier visa application (tourist)
Kind regards

Akpuoru:
Good morning all, I have been refused visa twice to the UK.
First was in 2018. We applied as a family to attend a niece's wedding. All of us were denied. However, my wife and daughter reapplied for the same wedding trip and were given visa.
I did not reapply due to work. Reason for my refusal was that I did not provide evidence of my financial state. (My pension account was used instead of my regular account. I wasn't really around during the application)
This year I decided on going for a short vacation to UK during my annual leave. My plan was to use the opportunity to assess the 3 universities that offered me admission for a Master program. Had planned the trip for the 3rd to the 10th of October this year. I did my biometrics on 23rd August but a refusal email was sent on the 19th of October. Reason is that I did not explain funds that entered my account. But the fact is that I did.
I don't know how these may affect my application for my student visa which I am processing now. I'll love advice on how to go about my application. My offer is for January 2023. I have passed my PreCAS interview waiting to process my CAS.
Kind regards
This is my earlier post

From my point of view
You have you use an account that shows your name and mostly there people that does pof. So I will advice you use that means. And each time you want to submit your account statement for visa applications do no add the day the money was deposited into your account as the UKVI already has the information of the pof.so if the money was deposited on the 2nd submit the account statement from 3rd and endeavor to run the account as well. Good luck

Morning Guys,
Please, what's the implication of counting your POF from the day lump sum dropped in the account?

Has anyone had issue because of that? I'm asking because I've seen some advice against it. Thanks

The implication is visa refusal
If you add the day the money dropped it’s shows you go the money somewhere through a quick means.

I don’t understand the meaning of lump sum. Should every transaction above 200, 500k or 1m be explained, even if it doesn’t have any influence on the required minimum amount needed to show as proof.
An explanation will be appreciated
