GeneralDae: This is not just a client business. The relationship ties back to Lagos. Tinubu even lived with them, and his wife opened an account together with one of the dealers wife. Even you know that Tinubu knew what he was doing. He even referred to Akande as his cousin in one of the documents. 1 Like |

GeneralDae: Hushpuppi's case, it will be cheaper to try him and confiscate the money. In Tinubu's case, he forfeited the money based on a juicy deal. |

onuman:But in 2003, Tinubu was in the opposition. PDP was in power and wanted to nail him in order to get Lagos. Why would PDP then forge the document or allow Tinubu succeed in doing that under their watch? Don't forget, PDP themselves decided to pursue the matter and were in charge of it. |

ladiguy: Even a FOOL in the USA would not accept such amount of money from another person and bank the money without asking or knowing the source of the money. Tinubu knew that the money were proceeds from drug trafficking. |

I don't think it disqualifies him, especially since the case is in a foreign country. But it makes the populace see him for who he is. |

In advanced country he will be disqualified but in nigeria impossible, because they will be romancing the case until inec declares the presidential result, if he eventually wins the case wil die a natural death. |

Geopex: If Tinubu's case was sorted out long ago, the fact remains that Tinubu was once linked to keeping the proceeds from drug trafficking. That already disqualifies Tinubu from contesting to become the president of a country. 1 Like |
