I have Degree in Computer Science and also have my Master's degree in computer science but guess what?
I work with a private bank as marketer with a salary not up to 60,000 monthly, which is not even constant, sometimes you recieved 40 to 48k in a month.
So what are you saying

You guys even have the time to pay attention to that guy; somebody has already explained to him how things are and that the reason why experienced hires are needed at NERC is because the open vacancies are only for experienced positions, but he seems not to understand and is calling people greedy just because we want an upgrade and a better life, and that's not nice at all. Take me, for instance. I have a Bachelor's degree in Economics and a Master's degree in Business Management with a focus on strategic management working in the agricultural sector, and I came across a position under "Corporate Strategy," and he's expecting me not to go for it with my years of experience. I don't know if he wants fresh graduates to apply for a position that requires a minimum of six years of experience. Comprehension is really a problem!

@Ustec, we get happiness in life by never comparing ourselves with anyone, it breed hatred and jealous amongst humans and bring unrest to our hearts. Nobody is blocking anyone in life, when you see people slightly ahead in life, they might have walked through challenges and obstacles that you would even feel pathetic for them. focus on yourself/your life/ what your best will delivered for you- whatever the result of such gives you, take it and keep moving. Some might still get this NERC jobs, and leave it later on for another better opportunities. In life, we keep moving morally and reasonably until we entered our graves! Remember that many people's movements did not even provide the opportunity for them to applied! You applied because your movement in life so far provides the qualifications and requirements for you Keep moving and don't bother to worry about other people's movements. We all must keep moving until the end of time! We get nothing to worry about in life, it is all about time!

If All things work for good, According to how it is planned, something is coming up Tentatively either on the 20th of Nov or End of the month.
Consultants are only waiting for the NERC management to decide the final date to shortlist candidate, and be contacted for the Next Recruitment.
Wishing us the best of luck.

Final date to shortlist or you mean final date to contact candidate.
They would have done the shortlisting

Movement/migration to a secured cloud database- For data/information accessibility among testmi, nerc and any other parties/individuals involved in the recruitment and all authorised/given a secured access! In this way, entity A, a primary data holder, Entity B, Entity C, Entity D and so on... all would have access, and work with the data independently as long as secured access is provided!

After two months, still on the reviewing and shortlisting, that's bad energy and timing for two months. When this is finished, what next to be done will be agreed, planned and scheduled by the stakeholders- (many stakeholders involvement) will affect the timing and bring bad energy. To get an exact or tentative date at this stage of the recruitment for what to happened next, it is difficult! The confusion among them is what is bringing confusion here on the platform (next step will be interview, next step will be another exam, next step will be the released of results, next step is some people are already having interview). Previous stages were quickly carried out by testmi, but upcoming decisions are beyond testmi! However, not until they're done with the reviewing and shortlisting before we can get on hold of what the stakeholders has approved and concluded. NERC or Testmi ordinary staff (those not part of the decision makers) do not have a clue on what next and exact date!

This one might end up like NNPC recruitment before 2015 if they don't conclude the recruitment before 2023 elections. People passed the test in 2014, then got sms to prepare for interview, election happened, everything was postponed and died a natural death.

We pray may God forbid a repeat of this. The experience was not palatable.

And how does this sermon correlate with what I am clamouring for
I said Government should stop making provisions for those that are already working in government in their vacancies, unemployment rate is higher like never before, government have all the resources and capacity to train and retrain their staffs but their corrupt and greedy strategy will prefer someone who is already trained from the private sector, hence their need for experience hiring. when their are millions of unemployed graduates that they can employ, train and retrain to become experienced in their respective fields and roles.

Employment in the private sector is a different ball game, people get hired and fired on daily basis.

Employment in government is politically inclined, Nigeria's case is even on another level. politicians and corrupt individuals have hijacked the whole employment process which is normal, but the question is, are they being fair in their sense of judgement and decision making in the employment process. I don't think so.

As usual, who knows, maybe these so called politicians and individuals have already sold out all the post in this NERC recruitment self.

Most Nigerians only listen to what their Pastors and imam told them, they don't follow it or let it reflects in their actions.

I was told very soon. They have concluded with the results, information reaching me is also that they reduced the cutoff mark coz of maximum failure. That’s the only thing I know for now. Also, that there will be another exam. So I heard. When and where, I don’t know. Lastly, allegedly only 20% of positions open for the general public.
I gave this exact info here weeks back, infact that 20% reduce it, lol. Good luck to everyone

As confident as I am, the next thing I am waiting for is an invitation for an interview, not any exam. As for the rest of you waiting for another round of exam and/or test, I wish you the very best.
Good luck!

For those over reliance on prominent people. Let worked out your chances, at the end your chance may be zero. We have people who would get jobs directly from God Almighty, we have over 700 honourables and senators in the country, we have over 30 ministers in Nigeria, we have over 30 permanent secretaries in Nigeria. We have over 30 governors in the country, we have over 20 Directors General in the country. We have over 15 commissioners in the Federal Civil Service Commission, we have 5 commissioners In NERC, to mentioned few for opening vacancies of 100-140. Just put that in your brain
