Yes. Nobody in the current crop of invitees can do it better.
if you know who can, please tell.

Lookman will play SS as a sub.

Etebo ahead of Lookman on the wings? Seriously?
When was the last time Etebo played on the wings for the super eagles,if he ever played there at all...

Has etebo ever played in that position for the super eagles

is Moses Simon not in camp?

I think he has, but can't exactly recall the very instances, but Etebo featured in that position early in his career.

What made you think Moses Simon is the better pick?

That is 4-4-2, not 4-3-3. In a 4-4-2 tactical setup the wingers are saddled more with defensive duties while providing support for the forwards. Goalscoring is not primary to their function.
They are also expected to possess decent ball passing abilities in order to support the forwards and also to maintain possession.

Based on the midfield list, would prefer Onyeka alongside Ndidi and Iwobi in the middle. Aribo to the bench.

And Bassey should play LCB in a 4 man defence but I see your point on him likely to play LB if Ekong starts alongside Akpoguma.

And GK would be Uzoho obviously.

The attack 3 is what I expect in Osimhen's absence but Peseiro and 442 na 5 & 6.

If he wants his 4-4-2, he should just make Aribo the SS, with Ndidi (if 100% fit) and Iwobi as the midfielders. At least Aribo fit help the midfield small.

Whether we like it or not, whatever the results may be when it starts, this is a great one. Nigeria too should be brave and get a legend and do the needful.

What made it rubbish? Give reasons, i am open to sound analysis of the game.
Just relax, gather your reasons, maybe at the end of the day, i might be wrong, but i doubt it.

Bro ,please let’s not compare toney to Haaland

Haaland is far ahead and toney will never get Haaland stats at city

Haaland stats at city are things for prime Ronaldo and Messi

Modified

Another Warey that can get Haaland stats at city is Liverpool and Barca suarez ,that Warey outscored messi and Ronaldo at their prime

SuaBaba had no chill grin he missed the memo that it was Messi and Ronaldo's era.

Toney scored 30 in the championship and he has now scored double digits in 2 EPL seasons. The difference is that Halaand has his dinner on a plate every night while Toney has to go in the jungle and hunt. Even Suarez and Messi were hunters, they were not presented goals like they Halaand. Halaand is probably the greatest team selector of all time but I have not seen enough to crown him the best footballer.

I see Senegal topping their group

sentiments as how
Has etebo played wing for the past 10 years all of a sudden he’s a good fit for wing

Are you sane ?

While you’re at it Ndidi would play top 9
Why iwobi will play CB since you’re trying so hard to be a clown

Making it the norm that we bring out calculators to figure out how we qualify for major tournaments, making it the norm on questionable invites from obscure leagues to the national team, making it the norm when sentiments and nostalgia overrules the coaches judgement rather than extending invites based on current form, making it the norm where we are about the coach bitching about being owed salaries for several months on the pages of newspapers… I could go on and on… nahhh bro.

Bro... But Aiyenugba was always subbed in then anytime the game entered penalty.
That was when they were both playing at Enyimba. At the National team level Enyeama was undisputed, penalties or not.

Salisu Djiku Amartey
Odoi. Partey. Menasha

Kudus. DedeAyew. Suliaman/Bukari

I remember saying this when the news that we will play Portugal came out. Finished or not they are not ready to risk their talisman over a friendly match few days to the tournament.

You can't be too sure sir. Just because the coach doesn't do the usual last minute substitution doesn't mean Aiyenugba has regressed. Moreso I think Ejide was majorly Enyeama's deputy then..

Sorry sir, I didn't say anybody regressed. Enyeama was in goal against Tunisia at AFCON 2004 and 2006 penalties shoot out.
