I remember saying this when the news that we will play Portugal came out. Finished or not they are not ready to risk their talisman over a friendly match few days to the tournament.
Not like he is going to put up a top performance anyway... They better keep him away from that starting lineup for their own good.

as long as Santos still lives and breathe as the coach of Portugal cr7 will always be on the starting line up in the world cup.

And Etebo has these qualities over Lookman...like for real?

Very yes
The emphasis is on defensive duties and decent ball passing abilities.

I think he has, but can't exactly recall the very instances, but Etebo featured in that position early in his career.

What made you think Moses Simon is the better pick?

BREAKING: Cristiano Ronaldo will not play tomorrow’s friendly vs Nigeria due to an illness.

CR7 who is Portugal’s all time leading goal scorer and holds the record for the most international games, is suffering from Gastroenteritis and won’t be fit to play against the Super Eagles

Nkunku ruled out of world cup. Replaced by Koko Muani.

Nawa for Camavinga o...he just ruined someone's big dream.

Camavinga didn't do anything wrong. That's just the sad part of football

English Chelsea fans on Twitter thinks Ivan toney is better than osimhen ,it really got me laughing because majority of these guys watch only the epl

The only thing Ivan toney have over osimhen is fitness .
Toney's link up play and technical ability is better sha.

I never knew he was Nigerian, even after knowing him all these years at Manchester City. How did I miss that.

His middlename is Okeroghene. That is what drew my attention. The fact that he has been in Manchester City all this time and some people on this thread pointed it out is what is baffling me.

It is well and I pray for the best for him.

Some reports I've monitored indicates JP might still go with this 4-4-2 eish.

Bassey is 50/50

Seems Lookman has displaced Chukwueze on the right wing for the foreseeable future.

Interesting to see how our midfield will lineup.

My predicted starting XI:

Uzoho

Osayi, Akpors, Bassey, Ebuehi

Iwobi, Ndidi, Aribo

Lookman, Moffi, Simon

Preferred formation 4-2-3-1

Since 2018, My Good man Joe. 4 years ago.

TheSuperNerd:
We need to keep our eyes on Gavin Bazunu. I trust he has been reported here in one of the news posts shared by Charlesemeka85.

He has a Nigerian Father and Irish Mother. A special talent he is between the sticks and is being chased by Man City big time!!!

He has even featured in the early rounds of the Europa league for shamrock rovers and it was in Europe that the young man conceeded his first goal as a pro... He is just 16 and just recently won the Player of the month award in the Irish Pro league.

Since then, lad has made various appearances in our Naija lads radar reports between 2018 and 2021.

Cc TheGoodJoe

So you can see.... while we did our job in here bringing him to the light, the football authorities just didn't bother.

We have lazy folks running our football.
