Prof of John Hopkins University surely mad man knows some of the basics. He is not invested in Ghana local politics to want to lie for you. He is helping explain the pain. The pain is real - percentages are an attempt to guestimate the pain the Ghanians are going through - the pain of everything trippling while income remain the same.

Where does kenya come in.

Ghanian right now has to buy things 3 times he bought last year while few if any have had their income tripled.

Again how does Kenya become a subject of Ghana inflation. You cannot say Switzerland are suffering because things are still expensive than Ghana. They used to it - their income are aligned - and so is Kenya used to buy things at certain price - and income at prize - that makes them buy those things - and have business operate selling those things.

Switzerland inflation is almost zero but things are expensive - but so are incomes.

Unlike Ghana though, the Swiss learnt how to make chocolate.

bunch of nonsense as usual

Kenyans are busy crying they can't afford rice .. Just like the million of Kenyans who can't are either cooking stones because they can't buy groceries.
Having incomes lower than Ghana with prices higher than Ghana just make things worse for you guys.

Kenya is the topic of discussion

That's a Million dollar question on the emboldened or he should just tell John Hopkins that inflation doesn't change the fact that things are generally more expensive in the USA than Ghana. Celebrities here are all taken to twitter to vent their anger but it doesn't matter to him because Kenyans in his deluded mind are suffering more.

Obaboon, you're africa largest on account of population and Oil.

You remember saying kenya GDP was 30B when it was 60B smiley. Now as we speak this year it going to be 120B (WB predicts 117B but they normally slightly understimate). Kenya this year will collect 24B dollars as revenues - and next year 30B dollars. Do you still believe our economy is 30B or now less than 100B smiley

Nigeria is essentially stuck where it has been for more than a decade; any growth; is less than population growth; meaning per capita is falling and falling - poverty is multiplying. And with an over-valued Naira - you real economy is 200-250B dollars.

In less than a decade kenya will have bigger economy - 250B - than Nigeria - which remain stuck because it's systemic and structural issues are becoming harder and harder to fix - with oil production falling.

R I P, you are not smart. If it's population why is Ethiopia not up close to Nigeria, or why's Angola not up there if it's oil?

Your GDP like I've maintained is less than $100bn. Which part of that is hard for you to understand?

How can Kenya have a bigger economy than Nigeria when you are stuck with tea as your biggest export? Your revenue target is already faltering under Ruto. You are borrowed up to your eyeballs and your debtor will start calling in their loans as from 2023. Your prognosis is scary, what with droughts and all? Try catching up with morroco first. Learn to crawl before you try flying.

And please, get over the Helios heartbreak. What's done is done. Our Target were those assets. wink Thank you for the additional $50m as well. Kenyans are fools.

Kenya GDP should be around 90-91 Billion Dollars based on the analysis I did.

They have added like 20B$ to their GDP in five years, not bad for a tiny EA country.

grin grin Na so. Their true GDP is less than $100bn but they keep posting phantom growth while the only thing growing there is poverty, starvation and debts.

Another one again, rice galore grin.

The 160-ton a day rice mill completed by Nigerian business woman, Fatimah Binta Bello in Kano . FBB will also be expanding production as demand for rice increases. Rice paddy is in high demand by mills these days , which in turn will create additional income for farmers

We should start thinking of exporting rice to the hungry nation of Kenya. Our rice production keeps going up every year. Some pained monkey will still come here and say it's fake.

Only dumbness will make you think In your own obsessed mind that Ghanaians are still not better off because celebrities are talking about a none applicable minimum wage that the market pays 6 times over.

Is Kenya minimum wage comparable to our market rate?

Ghanaians are not the one whose faces are being used to appeal for funds globally as poverty ravaged.

Why are you so pained though?

Obaboon, Angola the war torn country, with half your oil, has had GDP of 140B - now 127B. Do you think Angola has anything more than Oil.

Nigeria has had twice their oil - so 280B of your GDP is OIL.

The rest is poverty. Remove OIl from Nigeria. You cant do nothing. 90% of gov revenue is OIl.

If Lagos rice mill comes up and serves Lagos at least (the highest population), then we await Dangote rice mill and an even bigger one in Katsina I think by a Katsina business man, then it's shikena. Price would definitely become at most 25k everywhere.

Simple - open the rice market - Benin smugglers will sell at that - after importing it.

You nigerians are true bonobos.

Ever heard of somoene who has blockaded their imports - and is exporting the same thing.

What kind of logic is that

Useless if 50kg bag is 42,000 naira. All these will collapse if you were to allow regional or contintenal competition - leave alone duty free rice from everywhere.

These are wasted investment if they are not going to be competitive

The rate at which everyone pays ..

Ghanaians are receiving 6 to 10 dollars per day as living wages... So Kenyans need to step up..

While staying this, I just remembered I have to call my labourer to go and weed my 2 plots of land and pay him 150 cedis.
