Rohr this, Rohr that...

No team wants to appoint Rohr almost a year after he was sacked, but some people want us to hire him back.. Because Peserio whom some of us here warned was no better is now doing rubbish.... Una never serious...

Until the NFF stop appointing coaches with mediocre CVs for our national team, we aren't going anywhere...

Your pikin no do well be dat grin. JP already dropped him once, if he also doesn't rise up to the occasion, he's on his way out too.

Ndidi is praised primarily for his defensive duties. We need him especially now that Akpoguma is pairing Ekong.

I have only watched the highlights of the game today.

The score line is not that important, thought that Onyeka was good but the team lacked cohesion or maybe Portugal were just way better than us, if the truth must be told.

When confronted with irrefutable truth you dismiss and evade.

I am still waiting for you to tell me the LIES and please don't go back on to the Marko thing.

And oh l forget you claim I hate Nigerian origin players.
There are too many players of Nigerian origin in the UK. To quote you verbatim, "hater of Nigerian origin players"

You probably mean players birthed from the Nigerian football clubs and academies, l presume.

Let's start with Liverpool Awoniyi you probably had a convulsion when I told you I know him quite well. I hate him so much that I converse with him .

Ighalo, Onuacho, Etebo, Ndidi, Onyekuru, Dennis, V.Moses, Obagoal, Yobo, Mikel, etc I according to you HATE.

I absolutely have no HATE for any player irrespective of birth place and that includes, Chukwueze, V.O. Nwakali. For goodness most I don't know and probably never will, it's ludicrous to be getting all emotional about people you don't know.

The only players l have been unapologetically vociferously dismissive of is Isaac Success ,I coined Wasteman I have no time for bad behaviour.

And when I get into a discourse it's about player attribute and criticism not with the player but with highly misinformed individuals like you.

You lack knowledge and what you dont understand you class as HATE .

I don't need to prove anything... There are countless witnesses here...
"Here and now" is a perfectly concocted theory to hide your obvious hatred for such players...

It's time to move away from non technical players in the SE, players like Ndidi, Moses Simon, Uzoho, Ekong that can't keep the ball for 2 seconds cause more damage to the SE, if we want to move forward we can find ball playing CB's and midfielders that can help us keep the ball even if we don't want to attack, football has moved on from kick and chase
I suggest the nff to continue pushing for adarabioyo and atalanta’s young star okoli

Eagles are boring and predictable while in possession. It's the number one thing JP must tackle. Guess was what led to Rohr sack.
Tonight the opponent weren't static, giving whoever is with the ball several options.
All these were vivid from all their goals.

We played some of our best football under gernot when we utilised fast and skillful inverted wingers. I've never seen a Nigeria attacking trindent as dangerous like the K.O.C version I saw against Ukraine and sierra Leone. Our decline under rohr coincided with the period when he started playing a two man midfield. Playing Lookman(a right footer) from the right wing takes out something from our attack. I will maintain that we need to revert back to using inverted wingers and ditch the experiment of playing a two man attack or playing a traditional winger. We should improve our midfield plays. We have some of the hottest strikers in Europe. We're doing our self a disservice if we continue to ignore our midfield problems. Play a balanced blend of midfielders behind our inverted wingers and powerful strikers and we could be up to something special

Peserio obviously is continuing from where Rohr stopped... I don't see why Onyedika and Alhassan aren't in his plans... We don't have Eze and Olise for now,but I believe Onyedika and Alhassan have what it takes to compliment the midfield...

They lacked invention and there was a lack of COHESION too many players playing off the cuff individually.

I was in Portugal for a week last week and thought of extending my stay but I'm glad I did not.

Dan, I agree with you but I believe Alhassan is more deserving of an invite right now than Onyedika. I don't think Onyedika covered himself in glory against the Algeria Team B or JP wasn't impressed with him. I do believe though those 2 should begin to be integrated into the team. E really paid me say Alhassan couldn't make the Mexico and Ecuador friendlies, perhaps he could have warmed himself into JP's plans.

Must we use Akpos and Ekong? Balogun and even Omeruo haven't retired yet, and Semi is still available.

S.E are very predictable, i mean very predictable, but i must tell you that tonight saw them less predictable and a little more dynamic than what we have known of them. God bless Iwobi. There is a reason i am yet to give up on Peseiro.

What i don't like about him is his non invitation of players that gives him tactical advantage.
Players like Nwakali, Alhassan Yusuf, Chidera Ejuke, Peter Olayinka.

Chief every home based player is fervently praying to get a deal outside Nigeria. Their family members and friends are even fasting and praying for the same. In the unlikely case that we make a policy that only HB players be used and they play well, take it to the bank that we will be changing team and players every 3 months. All the ok players Keshi exposed, japa straight to anywhere they could find.

rohr qualified with ease in a group that included Algeria, Cameroon and Zambia in his early years. This same rohr had to grind out results and dragged third round qualification to the last day against teams like cabo Verde, Liberia and central African republic. If not that you are mischievous you would clearly notice the massive decline in the quality of our football. It's shocking that after witnessing rohr's last days we will still be wishing he was not sacked whenever we lose a game. Omo you no try at all oo.
Forget those people still crying over Rohr. Post Russia 2018, Super Eagles under Rohr was rolling down the hills. That SE has not improved does not mean Rohr was better. Inevitably with Rohr in charge we will be where we are today if not worse.

It's like modern football hard SE to grasp ooo. If not how is it that for five years we've not been able to fix issues with the midfield and our attacking set up?

Red hot at club level does not often translate into swell performance at national team level ooo. Fact is that club football and national team football is not the same.

It's tiring walai, We've not had an intelligent coach for a long time that can compete on the international stage. Our players are just as good and experienced.

The same European star players bagging for their various clubs are the same ones bagging for their countries so why our own different ?

Well, that ends arguably one of our worst years of football.

-Both Super Eagles B and the main team chopping L's left and right
- The gradual decline of our Women's dominance on the African continent
- Failure to secure WC ticket

We need an overhaul in our football infrastructure. Heck, we don't even have a national academy nor training centre!
