so sorry for that,I was in your shoe when I was 2months,I bleed alot,I even thought I lost the pregnancy,I went to the hospital immediately and I was sent for a scan like you did and all was well,I was given a bed rest and some medication to take and everything was ok,I am almost 8months now,so as your doctor said you should rest so much and by God grace it will be a story of the past

Not me personally but I know some persons who experienced this and still gave birth to healthy babies.
It's good that you are on bed rest because you need to stay off your feet as much as possible. Also try not to engage in baby dancing or any rough play with hubby for now until your doctor is happy for you to do so. Speak positive things to your body and baby, do not let fear envelope you. This phase will pass mama. Sending you positive vibes

Yes. Its normal. Happened to me too.
Mine was even accompanied with serious Nausea.

Exactly how you just mentioned it on your first paragraph, nothing biggy happening, just what I talked about n fr, I been the one doing the chores past few days, not that I’m complaining tho lol.

I honestly don’t know anything bout that, she doesn’t use any drug cos I been telling her not to even paracetamol cos it might be dangerous unless doc prescribe it.

Routine drugs are of different types. Once she starts antenatal, the hospital will provide her with these drugs. They are usually about 4 or 5 different drugs that she has to take daily. Some of them have funny smell and taste and some women do not tolerate them. Although there are other brands that have no taste or smell and she just needs one tablet a day

Good day Mamas, pls help o, I'm in my first trimester about 5weeks and it's been 6 days now I've had sore throat accompanied with cough that usually get serious in the night, I barely sleep, I went to the pharmacy to complain and I was given strepsils and a cough syrup, once I take the strepsils the sore throat subsides for about an hour then gets serious again, I'm tired, I can barely swallow my saliva, Its a struggle to eat. Pls mamas are these also early stage symptoms? Is there anything you can prescribe for fast relief. I'll appreciate your responses

Please would like to ask, when is the appropriate time to go for scan or visit hospital.
My wife is just a month+ pregnant (first time also).

Yes it's normal. I'm 3 month plus and I can't do anything since I got pregnant. My hubby has been doing everything since including cooking and mine usually last till I give birth. I'm always tired and lots more. And this is my third pregnancy. It happened with my two kids too. So it's normal. Just be there for her it your turn now ooo

Yessssssss this is Me. My food never digest well till I give birth. Happens in all my pregnancy. Infact my throat is always stuck somewhere somehow

The most important drug is folic acid. One daily. Other are bonuses Even some don't get to take any drugs as it never stay and all is still welll. Don't wait for antenatal though. You can go to hospital see a gynaecologist and ask them questions and do scan too if not too much. Doctor will tell you better

Boil ginger and garlic in water .strain it and drink it. It should go in two days. Though I added lime and honey for my kids and it worked but I'm not sure lime and honey is good for early pregnancy but garlic and ginger are great. It may feel uncomfortable at first of it burns your throat but it will get better

I don't even know where to start from, I was team Dec 2021,the journey was partially smooth it was few days to my Edd that I started panicking but took control of everything. After birth my baby hardly sleeps or is me that is exaggerating things Sha,maybe that is how it should be,but I hardly sleeps at night, because egbon show me Chon thing o even till now.
Have never been confused in my life like when am nursing my baby the guy no just send you, to sleep wahala, to use the restroom ogun, to birth gbeghe o, to eat sef problem. Letter Sha he Sha pity my life when am trying to enjoy the little peace, even promising myself that I will wait for good three years o,thanking God for having mercy on me,another one look me say you never see anything con enter, without seeing my menstruation o,as in it took me three months to know that am pregnant, omo life tired me, my husband hear ween from my hand infact his still hearing it, the first day I went to clinic I was just asking everybody that is it possible not to menstrate and get pregnant ni, infact i almost ask the gateman sef.
After everything Sha I was told that am team April, the woman doing the scan asked for my LMP I just feel like slapping her, person wen no menstrate dey get LMP, but am promising myself if I born today if it pass two hour before I will be put on family planning I will scatter that hospital, and after this one I will wait for five years may God help me so.

I also bled in this pregnancy. It started at five weeks. At a point, the bleeding was so much, with a huge lump dropping that I thought the pregnancy was over.

However, God came through for me and I'm over six months now.

Just observe strict bed rest like the doctor recommended. The hospital might also need to place you on progesterone injection if they feel it's needed.

You'll be fine, mama.
