Yes you need to write a letter authorizing the bank to debit you and signed you can scanned the letter and upload it. chi1995: Hello everyone,
Please can someone advise me on what to do. My Form A application was updated to ADB rejected because I didn’t submit letter of authorization to debit. How do I attach this to my current application? And does this mean the process will start all over again?

Thanks Yes. You can write a passionate sop to prove to the visa officer your reasons for denial isn't a justified. You have 30days from the day of denial to do that 1 Like |

I have about two weeks remaining to pay a 10,000CAD tuition fee to a Canadian polytechnic and I earlier planned using the above system because of lower exchange rates. My sister currently got admission to seneca college to study chain supply management coop, now i have two questions. I am currently rounding up my masters program at mcgill and my family already joined me. Is it adviseable i sponsor her by using my account statement or i just pay her 1st term tuition? She is an agriculturist but have worked in a logistics and shipping company for 3years and is the manager of a branch. The school is requesting for 8k cad for her to reserve her seat and it will lapse on december 9th. Also do they refund in case of visa denial becos she already mailed them but no response. Abeg make unah answer me nah please @ richard, gcms writers please its urgent, @ frankrobben1 and all other gurus Seneca college is a good school and I believe they refund tuition fees. You can either visit the school in person, call or check their refund policy. You can sponsor your sis without actually showing your immigration status even though it's on record you are in Canada. I will also recommend, you don't mention the agriculturist part but let her present employment status shoe she's into logistics and maybe manager of the logistics department. My 2kobo |

Please can someone advise me on what to do. My Form A application was updated to ADB rejected because I didn’t submit letter of authorization to debit. How do I attach this to my current application? And does this mean the process will start all over again?
You should start the process all over again with the Debit Authorization letter. The same thing happened to me, I uploaded the letter when my application was recommended for rejection, I waited for about 1 month but no one reviewed the application again. I started the process again and the ADB reviewer approved it. |

For Access Bank, all you need to do is go to the trade Portal, click on the refused application, there's an option to amend your documents, upload your letter to debit and contact the bank with the application number to review. If you apply afresh you will start from the bottom on their queue. Good luck. 1 Like |

Good day to us All. Below is my timeline.
First time applicant. Crandall University. 20-month program. GCKey portal. I applied for Study Permit for myself (Principal Applicant), Open Work Permit for my spouse, Visitor Visa for my 3-year old kid, and Study Permit for my kid who would turn 5 in November 2022.
Upfront Medical for all family members (IOM, Ikeja Lagos): 19 July 2022 The following additional tests were conducted because spouse has a history of TB. • Sputum Production for Principal Applicant • Chest X-Ray for the older kid (because she was presumed to have had contact with my spouse while she was treating TB. • Sputum Production for Spouse • Additional X-ray for Spouse. • Medical Examination on Spouse by a TB Specialist recommended by IOM (we paid a consultation fee).
Application Date: 6 October 2022. Biometric: 14 October 2022. Medical Report updated for the 3-year old kid on 4 November 2022. Medical Report updated for Principal Applicant, Spouse and the older kid: 18 November 2022. BVL (for me and my spouse) and PPR for all 4 Applicants: 18 November 2022.
DOCUMENTS UPLOADED (other than IMM forms) For the various sections where we are required to upload documents on the IRCC portal (e.g. LOA, Marriage License), I started with an Introduction, followed by Table of Contents. The Table of Contents have hyperlinks to the respective documents attached. I also included hyperlinks to take the VO from the attached documents back to the Table of Contents.
Please note, some of the documents I attached are unnecessary e.g. COVID-19 vaccination card.
LETTER OF ACCEPTANCE • Letter of Acceptance. • IELTS result. • Academic and Professional certificates. • Academic Transcript. • WES evaluation report. • NYSC certificate. • Evidence of Previous investments which had been liquidated (Education Plan for me and the kids, Shares that have been sold, Monthly Savings Plan with an Insurance Company, Investments with some Investment Firms). I stated that the proceeds were invested in other ventures and form a bedrock of funds being used for my studies in Canada.
PASSPORT • Bio-data page of International Passport • Affidavit (in lieu of birth certificate) • Drivers' license. • NIN slip. • Updated CV (Nigerian style). • Staff ID Card. • Letter of Introduction from my employer. • Study leave approval from my employer. • Introduction letter from my local Church. • Letter of Ordination from my Church.
MARRIAGE LICENSE/CERTIFICATE • Marriage Certificates (Church and Court). • Name change publication for spouse. • Birth certificates for the kids. • Over 50 pictures (during courtship, during wedding, during the christening of our kids, pictures with spouse at a volunteering event, family photographs). I cropped the pictures and put an average of 3 pictures on each page. Also, I sequenced the pictures such that they tell our family story from inception.
CLIENT INFORMATION Here, I included a background that the property owned by my spouse would be included under her application for OWP. Then, included a Table of contents and attached the following documents, which could not be added in other sections due to file size constraint. • Land Documents (Receipts, Sales Contract, Deed of Assignment, Survey, Advert showing an increase in the price of the land) • Documents for 2 cars. • Mum's International passport. (I showed her visa page and some travel stamps, since me I no get travel history). • Affidavit/Birth certificates for some of my siblings. • CSCS Statements for Stock/shares inherited from my late dad who died over 20 years ago. (The shares are still in my dad’s name. I explained that my family intends to obtain a Letter of Administration and these shares will be captured therein). • My picture with my CEO and an EXCO member at an official outing. • Training Certificates.
PROOF OF MEANS OF FINANCIAL SUPPORT • SOP (9 pages). I tried to reduce it but my story long. • Documents relating to the Payment of 50% initial deposit ($17,900 CAD). • Documents relating to my current employment (employment letter, confirmation, promotion and 4 months’ Pay slips). • Evidence of Available/Dedicated Fund:
I provided Explanatory Notes on 3 bank accounts. 1. My salary account (where I deposited our naira POF) 2. My USD account (where we deposited our dollar POF) 3. My spouse’s salary account (Here, I just stated that this is her salary account).
Under each of the account, I explained salient points such as lump sums that I wanted the VO to be aware of and included relevant support documents e.g. bonus letter from my employer. For my naira account and my wife’s salary account, I provided bank statements for exactly 4 months but for the USD account, I provided statement for 1 year because it was just a 2-page document and I wanted to convince the VO that the account was legit even though I had only a few transactions on it.
Asides these, I included an addendum account which belongs to my spouse. We created and liquidated several Fixed Deposit investments in that account and sizable part of our POF came from this addendum account. Asides the bank Reference letter, I also included the account statement because I felt it would better convince the VO. The account had a rather unusually high transaction volume in 4 months and a balance of just N500k. I carefully explained the meaning of some terminologies used on the account statement too e.g. FD booking.
• Letter of Introduction from my Pension Fund Administrator. • Investment Certificate and account statement from an investment company for an existing investment (the letter clearly states that my wife and I have an unrestricted access to the funds). • Deed of Partition and evidence of rental income on the property inherited from my late date
I included several hyperlinks on my SOP, my wife’s SOP and the cover letters for the kids. For instance, where I mentioned key words such as “Institute of Chartered Accountants”, Pension Reforms Act, 2014 etc., I ensured that they were modified to be hyperlinks, which would take the VO to the respective websites. I did this so it is easy for the VO for confirm the various terminologies/claims/entities independently.
My spouse and I have no travel history. Therefore, I stated in my SOP that we have been saving consciously towards my studies overseas, so we denied ourselves several luxuries such as travelling on vacations.
Just to mention, asides the funds that were available in bank and investment accounts, I stated that I would be saving specific amount towards my masters program from my subsequent salaries and 13th month allowance. And that in the period, my family will depend on my wife’s salary and the balance from my own salary (I had previously established the fact that my wife and I save and invest together. Moreover, all my salary and allowances go straight into her account based on my bank statement history). 33 Likes 3 Shares |

Superyettie242: Hello everyone, I want to ask if I can request for CBSA or GMCS note myself. I’m currently in Nigeria and I applied for my study visa myself. Majority of the persons here are in Nigeria too A gcms note or CBSA is applied by persons in Canada only. They are referred to as designated representative. Therefore you need someone in Canada to apply on your behalf. If you have family and friends there, you can apply otherwise, I can apply for you. 1 Like |
