All my analysis is just getting invalidated before I make entry and as I did not see trade I'm now withdrawing my trade capital at a lower rate than I deposit
Ive been a trying to be calm with myself but as I saw dat u were the one that posted thinking it was a trade call make I check if na trade make I enter but what I saw just add to my frustration ni and a lot of bills I'm expending on this days

I don't trade patterns, but from your drawing that should be reversal, an ascending triangle indicates loss of momentum and it approached to resistance level. What did you think?

We all have a bitter experience in it and we all have different reasons why we embark on this journey so why will he be talking like that when he will still come to drop monthly analysis on his foresight for December
Those who are on forexfactory despite the analysis in which they post Everytime which is not even up to the level of people on here they are not discouraging each other the same way this guy is doing and they've been doing it for a very long time
A lot of people are extremely close on here I swear to God so for him to just come online and post something like that in a group whereby if u google search forex and add nairaland to it, you will be directed to this group says a lot.
Some of us have a lot of passion for forex trading due to different reasons so a lot of newbies who also have great passion for it let's assume they saw what he posted how will they feel?

Infact I am just starting out on forex and I am currently on two different course on udemy and even if 90% of people on this thread believe forex is scam I doubt that enough to make me lose motivation as I am priotizing absolute knowledge.

I believe that with thorough knowledge, patient and consistent practice on a demo one would be able to minimize loss by 80%.
We learn by trying and that turns into experience and honestly I could be wrong tho but this is a trade, profit and loss should be an acceptable "normal" but that all the reason I want to go into it "you will never know how the road is till you arrive there".

one thing that has kept me back so many years in my forex trading is trying to minimize losses,,,

in the quest to minimize loss, you try to avoid loss, in trying to avoid loss you avoid profits...

Well i think patterns give clues especially most popular ones, the big pattern on the left side of my chart is called a falling wedge meaning its falling to rise and you can see market created double bottom and broke outside the wedge pattern, there is a theory in forex called the 90% rule and this why patterns are important they also help project take profits, the theory states if a market breaks out of a pattern or consolidation of let's say 300 pips, that is the pattern created or consolidation consists of 300pips for instance if price breaks out it will most definitely move for another 300pips, another instance let's say you have double bottom on the 1hr chart and from the leg of the double bottom to the neckline is 50pips when price breaks that neckline it will move another 50pips this theory applies to evey timeframe including monthly, now currently price broke out of a wedge pattern on gold so watch closely how price will go up to the price that created the wedge pattern first or 100% retracement

Hey guys , hop we are killing it on the low? Volatility is fading away. I'm kinda confused, took a Sell trade on EU last night and I was expecting my swap fees to be around -$60 on both Brookers but I noticed that MFF Brooker didn't deduct the fees rather they added $68 to my profit while TFT deducted the swap fees.. what could be the reason.

I totally understand, is not easy with SMC traders recently, I wonder how people that takes aggressive entries make money cuz 7 out 10 POI marked are likely to be violated. As for Prop nothing changes if you have Live Funded,where the problem lies is if are taking evaluation challenge, currently I'm taking $200k challenge, last month I ended with 5.1% on the account and I got repeat, this month is about to end and I'm still struggling to get the profit target, I'm on 4.3%, I will just be gambling these few days cuz my setups are not coming anytime soon, Incase if I get another repeat I will leave it till next year. My trading for the yr ends on 10th Dec. My Live Funded is on +9% ,ie last month profit and this month.

Took a trade on AU which was a buy retracement and SL tagged On Tuesday -$500. 2.5 lot with a 20 pip SL I should have joined the bullish train but I was too lazy and sleep dey me eye.

Entered a trade on Natural gas buy today. At this post, it has moved 9 points with 0.2 lot.
Entry: 7.466
SL: 7.388
Tp: 8.533.

I might close and take partials before tp hits and yesterday was bank holiday in the US that is why it was slow.

I have closed this trade with a little loss. It doesnt look like gold is ready yet. My bias and target is still the same.

Most swing trades on usd pairs tend to have positive swap.. Though I'm only aware of Wednesday but for yours I can't say

If I get a sell later tonight or early next week... I'll be targeting the black line long-term.
