He never said Ghana doesn’t deserve to be there
true. Is not that we don't have good players. But it pains me seeing team do the basics and super eagles can't. Portugal is finding it hard to break down Ghana.

Ghanaians are well coached disciplined and resolute in defense. If they can hang in there in the second half Portugal might tire and begin to make mistakes that they could pounce on.

Unpopular opinion but Bruno Fernandez looks like a low key fraud sha.

I expect the Ghanaians to press more.
They have the pace to trouble the Portugese defenders.
They should go 4-3-3 in the Second half.

but I enjoy their organization unlike our overhyped players. Ghana is far more organized and deserve to be there. No hypes.

S.E is more organized...

It was the penalty that Portugal got that changed the match unfortunately for the S.E Dennis ruined the penalty S.E got and further changed the match...

If Ronaldo had scored his chances Ghana would have opened up more and probably conceded... Ghana just needs to avoid giving out a penalty and they will get something from this match.

no hypes.

Just wondering how a fellow African country will be playing in the world cup and I would hoping that they lose because they beat my country
Nah, I pray they win so their participation would be justified and more of their players will see better clubs.
Still can not imagine hoping Ghana would lose.
The rivalry ends the day they begin to fly the flag of Africa

You can't park the bus for the whole match. Ghana needs to move forward and get some shots in.

If Portugal wants to break this Ghanaian defense, they need to a play quicker, faster pace offense so they can stretch the Ghanaian back line and get some space to play some good balls.

I wonder how Ghana's Ultra Defensively "Disciplined" Gra Gra Negative football is one to commend here?

I thought they boasted they were gonna give Portugal a real game. Na the real game be this? grin

If the Super Eagles played like this, many of you won't be impressed.

Zero shots. Zero chances created. Zero attacking transition. Formation is 7-3-0. No true Midfield actions. Average positions of Ghanaian players is seen below for the first half.

Ghana have only executed Defensive actions (Fouls, tackles, interceptions, clearances, Duels) and recoveries in this match and you are impressed?

This is the Negative football that can get you a result here and there but in the end it stunts a team's growth.

Ghana has been resolute in defending via disciplined Gra Gra but let us be honest, they have been rubbish overall.

This is Negative Football at its peak and Portugal only have themselves to blame for not taking their few chances in that first half.

I will proudly celebrate Ghana's first loss, second loss and third loss. To hell with African brother BS. These guys celebrated our loss on a personal level and national level. The mockery both here and on Twitter went way beyond football. Where was the sportsmanship then?

Ghana are slowly becoming threaten to Portugal.

55 minutes gone and Portugal are unable to subdue Ghana. This game may end in a draw although unlikely.

Think whoever scores next wins it , hopefully that will be GHANA

Portuguese players are trying desperately to get a Ghanaian player sent off. They are simulating and pretending to be fouled and injured.

I don't think anyone argues that. They deserve to be they because they qualified. However, they better win this game because every hatred will be paid back in full.

I want Ghana to lose but definitely not this way. But I'm gonna celebrate it just the way they celebrated ours against Argentina when we were denied a clear penalty.

Ghana will go home after two matches. grin grin
