Thanks so much..how much did you pay
And which documents did u submit?

Yours is a study Visa, if I am not mistaken, you should confirm first if there is an E-visa category for study

“The new e-visa is opened to Nigerian ordinary passport holders for a short-term visitor’s visa to South Africa. “No other visa category except a visitor’s visa, not exceeding 90 days will be issued via the e-visa platform,” the Home Affairs Department stated.

Make no mistake please. SA schools cannot register you with a temporary visa. The school will only register you when your visa shows it is a study permit and the school's name is written on it. As a matter of fact, you cannot get a study visa for UNISA and then try to use it to register for another degree programme at UP.

Go directly to their hotel website like Houghton hotel, Johannesburg marriot or any hotel in the city you’re going to, then make reservations or better still if you have a friend or relative in JHB or SA, tell them to write you a letter with their phone number, email address, house address and duration of your stay, attach it with a recent utility bill that shows that house address and their SA ID or intl passport and their visa/permit if not a citizen of RSA. all should be stamped by a SA police not more than 3 months and then bank statement if the person is responsible for your finances in SA if not don’t attach it then yours must be attached.

Reapply! And this time apply like 3 months to the date of departure. Allow a lot of time because now this is festive period and the volume of visa application is high, hence the longer Processing period. If you want to re-apply today, let your date of departure be within Feb 25 upwards as the case maybe.

example of strong ties are

You either own a property in your name (car not included)
You either in school with evidence
You either married and have prove that ur family is in Nigeria
Or u own a business with prove

Those are example of strong ties

And u must have active bank account with a good closing balance (avoid using company account, must be personal account)

I even tried checking the E-VFS E-Visa, there wasn’t any slot for study. I checked and checked. You should apply through VFS physically and VFS Lagos Slot (December) for Study get filled up quickly like flash, but VFS Abuja doesn’t in fact there are slot for study for this month. But then both VFS Centsr they will close for the year prolly second week of December, till January! Check DM

What if the company is yours? You can as well use the account and attach reference letter na
Re: General South Africa Visa Enquiries by Tesclaros(m): 10:44am On Nov 25, 2022
Also when applying using the E-route.. you must have a well detailed itinerary of places you will visit when u are there.. avoid using third parties like booking dot come, hotel dot come to book a reservation.. go directly to the hotel website u want to stay n book.. if u can pay for 3-4 nights to prove to them that u are serious.. ur info must match with every doc u present.. if u are presenting ur place of work, make sure it is a registered business..

You cannot make your personal spending through your company account na

U want to run down the company? Lmao
Smart people always make maybe like weekly or monthly transfer kind of like a payroll to their personal account

The way most countries view “company” isnt the same way we view it here.. except it is an enterprise company

avoid applying for study visa in Lagos.. there are only 2 active VFS offices in Nigeria. Abuja and Port harcourt. Applying in lagos is like u wasting your time by telling Lagos to help you forward it to abuja office lol

Lol it’s still better than booking 100k ticket to Abuja to submit. When VFS Lagos can forward it themselves without them collecting a dime for courier lol. Only if Lagos isn’t accepting application then he can now tender his app to Abuja Vfs. Do you get

Lagos can never forward a single application to abuja .. they will have to wait till they can gather the quantity they want before they make move. You feel the free courier service doesn’t come with a price? We talking about fast visa processing here. If i submit at abj and pay $30 for service
It gets processed that same day ! Much difference

425Rands is 24USD and Nigeria’s International Spending Limit is $20, so it definitely cannot work. so try getting a domicillary credit card and try the transaction again.
