And what brought Igbo as a whole into a statement made by one man?
Abaribe brought the Igbos into the statement first. Wike accused him as an individual. Wike said nothing about the Igbos. Abiribe with his slave mentality (it is only slaves that remind others that they are not slaves. Freeborns don't do that) started shouting Igbos are not slaves. When you bring in your tribe and nepotism into an argument, you do not have the right to complain when others say things about that tribe.

I thought the word nyamiri was gotten during the civil war when they needed water
KwaraRat:

They need to remind themselves that they are no longer a slave class.

Where they get that stupid saying about Igbo can never be a slave when over 90% of slaves exported via the Atlantic were igbos beats my imagination.

There are even records of Igbo slaves being traded in Kano slave markets which were considered inferior since they usually never survived the long march through the desert without pestering the Arab slavers for water hence the Hausa name for igbos : Nyamiri meaning give me water.

Even during colonial times, it was only the Igbo that presented himself for employment to the European as his potter and houseboy. This is how they were able to finally venture out of their Osuland by holding onto the White man's coattails .

The Igbo is a slave and even till this very moment we see that slavishness with their new found worship to jews. Same Jews that sold and profited from their black ass.

Forget those cretins .

Nyamiri is a throwback dating long before European adventure into Nigeria and was coined during the height of the Arabic trans -Sahara slave trade .

Igbos were found in major and minor slave markets across the north and the word "Nyamiri" was coined by Slavers to describe the Igbo commodity who kept pestering his abductors for water . They were not considered fit enough to make the trans Sahara journey and so most Arab slavers avoided them or paid less premium for them since there was a high chance they will not survive the arduous long trek through the deserts. So , instead most ended up as domestic slaves across Awusa and Kanuri land. There are historical court archives from northern kingdoms of Ibo women and girls sought specifically for harems . Some how Aboki found out this was their only true worth - to be deployed as comfort women just as the case is today where they dominate every brothel from the slums of Lagos to the dusty corners of the extreme north.

After reading and going through this article, I couldn't help but be dismayed, appalled and startled by Senator Abaribe's reply to Gov. Wike

just take a look at the reply "Abaribe is a free born and cannot be a slave. He is an Igbo man; Ndigbo adighi agba boi (The Igbos are never slaves).".. abeg what type of delusional and foolish reply is this

WTF brought tribe or Ibo into this conversation is what I can't fathom! We all know Wike can be a nuisance, he has insulted a lot of political elites e.g Atiku, Lamido, Ayu etc but I have never seen any among those he insulted tow this path .. I notice it's a general thing among the Ibo

It's like the Biafra civil war defeat has psychologically affected the Ibo.. they subconsciously see themselves as inferior/second class/slaves, hence they always throw the tribal card to console and redeem their battered image

Hahahahah hahaha haha haha

Opinion noticed....

Now move along ...!!!!

My dear KWARArat,
If you watched the interview there'd be no need for your questions.

I still maintain that others won't agree with the Op's opinion.

There's nothing wrong in introducing yourself in case your competitor has forgotten who you are.

He is just reminding Wike that he is different. I don't see anything wrong with that.
KwaraRat:

Did anyone call him a slave that he had to remind himself that he isn't one ?

Also , did he collect money from Wike and later defected as accused by Wike?

What I saw was a man deflecting from the main accusation and comforting himself that he is a freeborn.

No freeborn needs reminder from anyone about his status needless to say one assuring himself of being freeborn

You did not get the OP's point.

Abaribe and Wile had a personal political arrangement to which Wike claimed Abaribe did not honour after collecting monies to effect a political campaign but instead decamped .

Now instead of Abaribe to focus on addressing Wike"s accusation he tried to make it into an ethnic competition by ascribing to himself as being Igbo and this not loyal to anybody which he sees as servitude.

Here is a man who renegades on his earlier agreement and when confronted is now saying that him being an Igbo is not bound by contract and that contracts are for slaves that he like every Igbo is not a slave thus meaning every Igbo can not be held to contract terms.

Its a dubious statement that whipped up ethnic supremacy and at the same time exposed him as a fraud and a man that will not hold up on his contract end which he implies is the Igbo way of doing things .

It only went further to degrade the Igbo as not worth trusting.

IGBOS AND SUPERIORITY COMPLEX

We would know he is talking about the Igbos.
The tribe that you find doing well in every town , city ,state and country of this world dont have inferiority in their DNA at all oh.

Yet igbos dont feel they have achieved anything because an igboman has never been Nigeria president.....and always crying marginalization because of that.
That's inferiority complex.
Igbos should stop crying about wrong political choices they make and do like others that build political bridges and alliances to get power

Look its beyond achieving the position of executive president.

The current system makes the true Igbo ambition of totally dominating the polity impossible as even the overwhelming powers of a Nigerian executive president can not satisfy the Igbo ambition to totally dominate the polity.

To understand the true nature of Igbo ambition , you have to revisit the very brief but highly autocratic quasi military Igbo dictatorship of Ironsi and Zikist elements.
I will spare you the details on the atrocities of that Igbo dictatorship but let you know that they are the very architects of a failed and highly divisive Nigeria today.

What the Igbo truly wants is an Igbo supreme dictatorship in place.

You can even see it with how the DisObidient mob are going about their campaign. If they are this unruly during campaigns can you phantom their level of impunity if they get into power?

But as I said, they are not interested in a democracy but an Igbo dictatorship and the Igbo Marxists alongside the feral liberals of other nationalists supporting in the DisObidient camp atre not in the race to win any elections but rather to challenge and invalidate the outcome towards ushering an end to our Democratic process.

The Buhari govt is in on this. As those ones can not trust anyone least Tinubu to protect them from the mountain of atrocities committed since 2015..

You should also note that the same characters that propped Buhari into power are the ones backing Obi using their coalesced SM Marxist and Zionist groups just as they abused same medium to get buhari in power.

This shadow group has been busy propping stooges and Marxist entities across the world - the latest being the rigged Marxist govt in Kenya and that of Brazil which the Brazilian populace are refusing to consent to.

This same shadow group want an end to democracies and nationalism in place of an internationalist corporatist order as dictated by WEF aka global Jewish Communist One World Order.

This order can only be possible under a dictatorship that takes orders from Davos just as we can see with the disastrous Kenyan stooge govt that has begun in earnest to implement all the anti people policies.

It is for this reason that I warn people here to reject obi .

Guy, the Op is free to see it that way BUT it's a myopic view.
The Abaribe guy is one person.
Besides, he is contesting with another Igbo who Wike is supporting.
Listen to the interview and don't see through the Op's lenses.
See it and be free to conclude.

Lest o remind you that it was Abaribe that dragged Igbo race into his quarrel with Wike.

Lest I remind you that Abaribe stated he as an Igbo can not be held by contract as he is not a bounded slave which no Igbo as he claims can never be.

Abaribe is the one that went on an ethnic tangent route and so he should bevquestiinef on why he brought his ethnicity and status into the discuss .

Now that's the real question the OP is posing and I agree that certain outbursts exposes one's greater inner inferiorities and fears.

much ado about nothing.

Even the Wike, you're talking about is he not Ibo?

The interview would help you.I can't be analysing why the Op's view is not the view of a balanced person

Actually what he described is very common among yiibos. Criticise one yiibo, the next thing is "why do you people hate the igboman?" So, it's not an isolated case.
