The power bank suddenly stop working. Not up to a year bought.
But Havit and Romoss I think have this problem may be some other same battery technologies.

Battery swollen

From the inside....

It was the swollen battery that tore open the casin

Any battery technology aside this?

60,000mah Havit Power bank bought 22,000 just wasted not up to a year.

30,000 Romoss PB gone bought 18,000

swollen batteries are mainly caused by letting the battery sit in a low voltage condition for a while, will advise that you dispose of them as they are no longer useful or redeemable

I have used 3 Romoss power banks and I have never experienced any fault . I usually buy Original one either from Amazon or Just2endowed on Nairaland. I am currently using Romoss 60000mah which I bought from him since 2020, and it has never developed any fault...
It could be a fake product or bad usage, such as charging with low charger or allowing the battery level to drop too low and remaining in that low state for two long or or not charging it for a long time..

It was bought from same person you bought yours from.

Normal charger was used used. I said it stopped working. Till it happens to you, the blame will always be; bad usage

this is lithium polymer cell technology, they are sensitive to over-discharge n overcharge.

try buying that of lithium ion cells nxt time.

cell might not be of quality or battery management ish

the cells are li-ion not lifepo4. They are pouch li-ion cells

no sir.

there are 3 most popular chemistry of lithium batteries.

lithium ion
lithium ion phosphate (lifepo4)
lithium polymer (lipo)

I use all of the 3.

if lithium ion will be in a pouch shape, thn the cover will be metal

How to identify power banks using lithium ion cell technology?
Is oraimo good?

They are all lithium ion cells, either cylindrical or pouch, they all come with a nominal voltage of 3.7v. li-ion cells don't come in only metal shells, for example inbuilt phone batteries.

They all use lithium ion cells, most of all higher capacity power banks use pouch cells because of space, cylindrical cells takes up more space than pouch cells and are heavier

Hmm... Can lithium ion tech use more than a year?

Yes of course, a typical lithium ion battery is rated for about 800 cycles which is about 2½yrs, after which the capacity starts to reduce gradually
