Okoyeeboz: Truly, the Igbo is filled with too much hate. Normally this will be ignored but they always act on that hate and have shown to go to the very extreme when high on such passions of hate that spilling blood comes natural to them. They are a feral breed of humanoid apes that can not weigh the consequences of their hate filled actions and when a response is given to their madness they will begin to cry victim. Other than this, the Igbo exists on a very sociopathic mode . He can not empathise with his fellow man thus making them prime candidates for criminality. Their valueless society which has only materialism as its one and only creed, has turned them to real criminal sociopaths who see the ends as paramount . So if that means killing you to take possession of your land so be it. Criminality exists amongst all people but sometimes when I read of certain detestable and aboniminable crimes committed by Igbos such as baby factory , baby snatching, or even that Chidima Ojukwu who killed her lover in a split second in a motivated murder to steal his money, I sometimes wonder what manner of people the Igbo are. To make matters worse, only the Igbo provides excuses and defense for their criminals. As we venture into this thread , a few will appear here and post on how igbos are the most successful in Nigeria thinking we belong to that same voidless materialistic reasoning. There is another dimension to the Igbo and that is his constant denial of the truth. Like a true psychopath who will blame his victims as the cause of his crimes, the Igbo will also deny his sins. This was the case since the war ended . Rather than tell their children the truth, the war generation denied their sins and lied to them being victims. Who then can correct the Igbo even with mountain of facts when their very own parents lied to them. I am afraid that war is inevitable as this present generation of igbos have become so radicalized and bamboozled with so much lies and hate that sooner or later they will take their foolishness to another level . 8 Likes 3 Shares |

Biafrannuke:You are too high seated on the horse that you might not see what is happening at the horse hooves. Biafran Army dealt with the minority. The story is nót good anywhere outside Igboland. Igbos had grudges for the minorities they dwelled with before the war. During the war with the initial seemingly victory of Biafra they metes out their venoms on their previous hosts. You might not have felt this because you are Igbo and didn't happen around you. Igbos dealt with minority and wound would také the passing away of all the victims to heal. 5 Likes 2 Shares |

A war loser has no friends or relation. I can bet my smart money that Nigerian soldiers killed or murdered far more so called minorities during that war, but it is Igbo that gets blamed and called names by everybody. Reason? They lost the war! As of today, the Fulani are killing everywhere, especially in the so called minority areas of Nigeria both North and South, but these people would never face them. It is the Igbo war loser that they fixate on. No amount of revisionism can secure the future. The Igbo stand ready anytime to leave Nigeria ALONE, SOLO, if the need arises again. Igbo would of course prefer a functional Nigeria than any Biafra, but Igbo being Igbo would choose secession than live in a permanently failed state. Nigeria has another chance next year to choose a good leader that can make the country a place where no ethnic group feels the need to secede. It is all in Nigerian hands. But I don't hold my breath, because a significant part of Nigeria prefers to remain slaves to the Fulani as long as Igbo are enslaved alongside them. They don't mind staying in a hellish existence called a country as long as Igbo are there with them. Their greatest fear is the emergence of an Igbo country, because it may succeed where Nigeria failed. No group can be more Nigerian than Igbo, because we put our money where our mouths are. When other countries talk about "Nigerians" they mostly mean Igbo, because that is the Nigeria they experience in business, sports, academics, music/movie entertainment, etc. Without the Igbo, Nigeria simply stops being Nigeria. FACT. So, next story please! 1 Like |

Arda1000: There were atrocities, there are claims, the evidences are there in the Library if you choose to know. Those it happened to, some of them are still alive. I remembered the version of Samuel Ogbemudia before he died. The thing is that the Igbos don't want to accept any of that and the Nigeria government who can explain clearly to these young generation of Igbos don't really give a hoot about the issue. For a start you can look into what transpired when the Igbos were ruling Benin after invading it. What happened during this time and why did the Benin conspired with the Nigeria troops to chase Biafra away. These stories have always been even here on Nairaland but you can choose to believe and accept what you want. 4 Likes 2 Shares |

gaddafe: The bastard Ojukwu , attempted to murder Ejoor and when thatbone got wind and escaped to Lagos, Ojukwu appointed an Igbo in as Head of State of a newly independent Republic of Benin. If the mid west region which refused to take sides under Ejoor and tried to facilitate peace between the north and the Igbo by not allowing northern troops to pass through Mid West to invade Biafra and refused to implement the blockade on food export to Biafra could be treated in such a manner by the Igbos, does that not tell you something about the very character of the Igbo serpent ? Ejoor specifically prevented northern troops from invading through Mid west fearing for the safety of the Igboid people in his region. Almost immediately after forcing Ejoor into exile and supplanting an Igbo officer as HoS in a newly declared independent Republic of Benin to which the people had no need for, the Igbo went to work killing , raping, looting and harassing the once sympathetic people of the Midwest. Things got to a breaking point that in Warri environ , a group of Urhobo and Ijaw youth armed with crude instruments invaded a biafran military outpost and sacked it killing 50 armed Biafran soldiers at a cost of only 16 of theirs. It was at this time the Igbo now knew he had finally used up any sympathies that he had from the people but rather than adjust to this new reality, the Igbo continued with his senseless killings of unarmed civilians. There was even talk of Igbo soldiers capturing civilians for the sole purpose of using them for diabolical human sacrifices to fortify themselves. They were in no way or form victims but the very belligerent aggressors who provoked anti Igbo sentiments on themselves that still lives on till this very moment. 4 Likes 1 Share |

onumadu: You were never expected to accept any contrary narrative that exposed your war crimes and mistreatment of the minorities on not just the old eastern region but also in the then neutral mid west region. You can continue to lie to yourselves that your invading orcs where civil but there are people alive today who hold very vivid personal memories of the atrocities of your Igbo soldiers on the minority people. You wonder why the ND has no love for you. Maybe if you did a honest review of your actions and tendered an unreserved apology this would not be the case but instead you dismiss their own narrations as Nigerian govt war propaganda. You see nobody needs to write books on the biafran war other than you who needed to twist the real motives of the senseless war and to whitewash your dastardly acts. The minorities in the old eastern and mid western region are however seeing reason now than ever to document their experience so as to warn the current and future generation from letting their guard down with the Igbo. You will never change nor relent nor repent of your quest to annex the Niger Delta entirely into your lame Igbo empire . 5 Likes 2 Shares |

Idiko1: If Ognemudia is a coward then ojukwu who never smelt the front but lived under a concrete bunker sipping whiskey and frolicking with women throughout the war but ran away rather than concede defeat is what ? Ojukwu abandoned his Biafra nation to their fate . He remains the biggest coward to ever walked the earth. He had a chance of at least presenting his surrender but instead he snuck out without even giving the final orders to his ragtag undisciplined ethnic militia troops to surrender. Christistruth00: I have said it here severally that the Igbo needs to create a shrine for both Lugard and Gowon. Lugard and the British for putting an end to the Arochukwu slave raiding and human sacrificing cult and for whom the Igbo was able to finally exist out of the darkness of Alaigbo into the light of civilization. Without Lugard and the British expedition, igbos will be no different than the cannibal tribes of Papau New Guinea. As for Gowon, his insistence on continuing the war despite the original aim being to liberate the Niger Delta regions was to bring the Igbo back into Nigeria . This was both personal and also heavily influenced by Igbo lobbyist who had grown weary of an Igbo nation without the Niger Delta to leach on. Gowon saw Igbo reintegration as a checking mechanism to future Jihadist ambitions . To further accelerate Igbo integration back to Nigerian society, Gowon secured a pledge not to expose atrocities committed by both biafran soldiers and overzealous northern Jihadist elements bent on revenge for the Igbo bloody coup. It is for this reason many Igbo war criminals and Nigerian officers alike were never tried after the war. This has however given the Igbo an excuse to whitewash his image as a hapless victim despite all the atrocities committed on defenseless civilians in the Niger Delta. For years after the war, the Igbo has dominated the literature on revisiting the war he lost. This is unusual as the vanquished are not usually in the position to dominate the narrative but given Gowon's secret oath he pledged from his war cabinet and officers , we have hardly had a comprehensive and detailed report on the atrocities committed by Biafran rogue soldiers on the civilian populace. But instead we have been inundated with half truths and blatant lies from the likes of Chinue Achebe who was too cowardly to release his own lies when alive for fear of having himself and his book (There was a Country) totally dissmissd. Later on Marxist idiots like Chiamanda and a host of other Igbo Marxist have continued on this path of Igbo hapless victimhood without caring to even consider the elephant in the room - the minorities of the Niger Delta whom they have never given one single sentence in all their hogwash literature on the war. Then came IPOB to reinforce the lies on a wide scale that has now taking root as fact among the igbo populace who now see the ND as theirs to liberate and occupy. Truly , I can say now that there are no hapless victims or innocent ones among the Igbo if they still insist on this madness of including the ND into their future tribal ambitions. They should rather begin to explore annexing the adjourning middle belt areas of Benue and Kogi because we have grown tired in telling these cretins to back off from the ND 1 Like |
