Igbos don't like Akwa Ibom people, they are just doing eye service to curry the favour of Akwa Ibom people so those ones can join their Biafran madness.

There is thus guy Ilaumoh on NL. He posts developments and projects in Akwa Ibom. Guess those who attack him and insult Akwa ibomites? Igbos.
I feel they see these rapid developments in Akwa Ibom and are embittered because it is not them.

Love is not part of Igbo culture, hatred is. That is why you see Igbo posters always talking about hatred, about why you hate igbos, about how you are typing out of hatred, bla bla bla.

Igbos don't love anyone or themselves. They hate others the way they hate themselves. An example is Mbaise Igbos not allowing a fellow Igbo as Bishop of Mbaise. Even the Pope is aware of their hatred.

Truly, the Igbo is filled with too much hate.

Normally this will be ignored but they always act on that hate and have shown to go to the very extreme when high on such passions of hate that spilling blood comes natural to them.

They are a feral breed of humanoid apes that can not weigh the consequences of their hate filled actions and when a response is given to their madness they will begin to cry victim.

Other than this, the Igbo exists on a very sociopathic mode . He can not empathise with his fellow man thus making them prime candidates for criminality. Their valueless society which has only materialism as its one and only creed, has turned them to real criminal sociopaths who see the ends as paramount . So if that means killing you to take possession of your land so be it. Criminality exists amongst all people but sometimes when I read of certain detestable and aboniminable crimes committed by Igbos such as baby factory , baby snatching, or even that Chidima Ojukwu who killed her lover in a split second in a motivated murder to steal his money, I sometimes wonder what manner of people the Igbo are. To make matters worse, only the Igbo provides excuses and defense for their criminals. As we venture into this thread , a few will appear here and post on how igbos are the most successful in Nigeria thinking we belong to that same voidless materialistic reasoning.
There is another dimension to the Igbo and that is his constant denial of the truth. Like a true psychopath who will blame his victims as the cause of his crimes, the Igbo will also deny his sins. This was the case since the war ended . Rather than tell their children the truth, the war generation denied their sins and lied to them being victims. Who then can correct the Igbo even with mountain of facts when their very own parents lied to them.

I am afraid that war is inevitable as this present generation of igbos have become so radicalized and bamboozled with so much lies and hate that sooner or later they will take their foolishness to another level .

Biafrannuke:
I scanned the interview if i could see a mention of specific incidence of attack or massacre of minorities by Biafran forces with date and didnt see one. It is therefore safe to conclude the interview is a re-echo of the age long government sponsored conspiracy theory. The loafer that calls himself a professor even had to blame Biafra for the pogrom against the minorities in the north.

Human being is a rational being that can only be intellectually turned on by evidence such as the bombing of hospital by federal forces in itu present Akwa ibom, massacre in Asaba by federal forces etc

Nigerians are not normal people. Give it five years, IPOB will be accused of being behind Odi massacre and some Biafran haters will actually give it a serious thought.
You are too high seated on the horse that you might not see what is happening at the horse hooves. Biafran Army dealt with the minority. The story is nót good anywhere outside Igboland.
Igbos had grudges for the minorities they dwelled with before the war. During the war with the initial seemingly victory of Biafra they metes out their venoms on their previous hosts. You might not have felt this because you are Igbo and didn't happen around you.
Igbos dealt with minority and wound would také the passing away of all the victims to heal.

The practice of Butchering People for meat was not Started by IPOB

Eastern Non Igbos were Victims of Ethnic Cleansing by the Biafran Soldiers

Enough Of This Biafran Nonsense!!! By alabo abiye Akkio-abbey

As a Rivers man who saw the events of 1967-1970 and who was old enough to understand them, this protest in Port Harcourt is a slap on true Rivers indigenes. and the memory of ALL the Rivers men and women who were slaughtered in the pogroms and ethnic cleansing committed during the civil war by the Biafran Army.
Let us remind ourselves of the TRUE facts and REAL reasons behind the secession and subsequent civil war. Ojukwu and his cohorts decided to secede from Nigeria because Gowon broke up the regions and created Rivers State among the 12 states he created. Remember the Aburi accord? Article 4 of that accord had to do with the breaking up of the regions. On the 27th of May, 1967, Gowon broke up the Regions, from the then Eastern Region and carved out Rivers, South-Eastern and East-Central states. 3 days later on 30th May, 1967 Ojukwu seceded citing the Aburi accord. ON ABURI WE STAND!! The rallying war cry of the day. How anyone who calls himself/herself a Rivers indigene support tacitly or otherwise the so-called Biafra cause when Biafra seceeded just because Rivers State was created and the Rivers people for once had a right to self rule?
In the quest for a sovereign country did the Igbo majority seek, discuss with or solicit the support of the minorities in the Oil Rivers and South-East?? Where is Biafra? How do you seek for a country which was susequently named Biafra WITHOUT involving the indigenous people of Biafra? Isn't that supreme arrogance or maybe they were not included because they were meant to be wiped out later. Events proved the latter to be true.
Late Chief (Dr.) Nabo Graham-Douglas who was the Attorney General of the Eastern Region was sent on compulsory leave and exiled to his home town Abonnema with orders for him to be executed. Fortunately the plans leaked and he miraculously escaped. He didn't draw the Articles of secession and only heard about Biafra from the BBC journalists who came to interview him in Abonnema.
He was one of the lucky ones.
The ethnic cleansing began in earnest. Our intelligentsia; top civil servants, technocrats and other able bodied men and women were rounded up and summarily executed in Enugu, Owerri, Aba, Umuahia, Degema, Buguma, Bakana, to mention but a few towns/cities. In Port Harcourt, Rainbow town and Igritta, became killing fields. the bones of those victims still lie there
These atrocities were committed by the Biafran Army, against people who were supposed to be fighting the same cause with them.
In a bid to wipe out the minority tribes, our towns and villages were evacuated, our men put to slave labour and later on shot (reminiscent of Nazi Germany), our women taken as sex slaves, young boys shared the same fate as the men. Bakana, Bille, Abonnema were all forcefully evacuated.
Finally, when the Nigerian Army counter attacked and liberated Port Harcourt, the retreating Biafran Army, burnt Kingsway (now Supabod building), Nabo Graham-Douglas's law library (which was the best Law library in the whole of West Africa) and other land marks in the Garden city. Of what military significance were these acts??
I don't blame the misguided ill-informed people for trampling on the graves of those who were murdered by the Biafran Army, by protesting in Port Harcourt. I blame Gowon for forbidding accounts of the war being published after the war, but more importantly for not trying war criminals (like Col Ojeh of Degema) within the Biafran Army and holding them accountable for their inhuman and murderous actions during the war. 70 years after World War 2, we are still reminded on a daily basis the atrocities that the Nazi's committed. If Gowon had done what he was morally and duty bound to do, this matter of Biafra would have been put to rest once and for all.
By the way, in May 1968, my uncle (my mother's younger brother) was shot in his Warri street residence in Port Harcourt, his corpse butchered, his flesh sold as Biafra meat in Mile 1 market.

That same day the Nigerian Army opened up and started shelling Port Harcourt, which was ultimately liberated
Are those protesting and the other supporters of "Biafra" aware of these facts??
The war has been over these past 45 years, we are forging on as a country, setting aside our ethnocentric issues. That Ex-Biafrans have been assimilated into all spheres of our society (as they should), without any punishment meted out to the war criminals among them, doesn't give anyone the right to re-write history or bring these painful memories back.
ENOUGH IS ENOUGH!!!
God bless you Sir. We will never forget. My cousin was buried alive before the people of my community. He was crying and no one in the community could say a word. The funny part was that he dug his grave himself.
His crime was that he looked like a Nigerian soldier and or à spy.

A war loser has no friends or relation.
I can bet my smart money that Nigerian soldiers killed or murdered far more so called minorities during that war, but it is Igbo that gets blamed and called names by everybody. Reason? They lost the war!
As of today, the Fulani are killing everywhere, especially in the so called minority areas of Nigeria both North and South, but these people would never face them. It is the Igbo war loser that they fixate on.
No amount of revisionism can secure the future. The Igbo stand ready anytime to leave Nigeria ALONE, SOLO, if the need arises again.

Igbo would of course prefer a functional Nigeria than any Biafra, but Igbo being Igbo would choose secession than live in a permanently failed state.
Nigeria has another chance next year to choose a good leader that can make the country a place where no ethnic group feels the need to secede.
It is all in Nigerian hands.
But I don't hold my breath, because a significant part of Nigeria prefers to remain slaves to the Fulani as long as Igbo are enslaved alongside them. They don't mind staying in a hellish existence called a country as long as Igbo are there with them.
Their greatest fear is the emergence of an Igbo country, because it may succeed where Nigeria failed.
No group can be more Nigerian than Igbo, because we put our money where our mouths are.
When other countries talk about "Nigerians" they mostly mean Igbo, because that is the Nigeria they experience in business, sports, academics, music/movie entertainment, etc.
Without the Igbo, Nigeria simply stops being Nigeria. FACT.
So, next story please! cool

Isn’t it funny grin
Coming from a so called professor…
Up till today no one has even give evidence of any of the atrocities they claim…
I bet the only bad thing Baifra did was ofcourse forcefully recruit young men and child soldiers, which it’s normal for the situation they were in,BTW many of the child soldiers joined the Army willingly…
The professor sef tire me he doesn’t even know that when they say Igbo it covers the entire Eastern region ethnicities, wether you are Efik,Ibibio,Ijaw etc forget about denying wether ure Igbo or not, no one will give u room to explain that..to an average Aboki ure Igbo..
It is sad our history isn’t being taught in schools so just about anyone will come up with rubbish and people will buy it

There were atrocities, there are claims, the evidences are there in the Library if you choose to know. Those it happened to, some of them are still alive. I remembered the version of Samuel Ogbemudia before he died. The thing is that the Igbos don't want to accept any of that and the Nigeria government who can explain clearly to these young generation of Igbos don't really give a hoot about the issue. For a start you can look into what transpired when the Igbos were ruling Benin after invading it. What happened during this time and why did the Benin conspired with the Nigeria troops to chase Biafra away. These stories have always been even here on Nairaland but you can choose to believe and accept what you want.

The bastard Ojukwu , attempted to murder Ejoor and when thatbone got wind and escaped to Lagos, Ojukwu appointed an Igbo in as Head of State of a newly independent Republic of Benin.

If the mid west region which refused to take sides under Ejoor and tried to facilitate peace between the north and the Igbo by not allowing northern troops to pass through Mid West to invade Biafra and refused to implement the blockade on food export to Biafra could be treated in such a manner by the Igbos, does that not tell you something about the very character of the Igbo serpent ?

Ejoor specifically prevented northern troops from invading through Mid west fearing for the safety of the Igboid people in his region.

Almost immediately after forcing Ejoor into exile and supplanting an Igbo officer as HoS in a newly declared independent Republic of Benin to which the people had no need for, the Igbo went to work killing , raping, looting and harassing the once sympathetic people of the Midwest.

Things got to a breaking point that in Warri environ , a group of Urhobo and Ijaw youth armed with crude instruments invaded a biafran military outpost and sacked it killing 50 armed Biafran soldiers at a cost of only 16 of theirs. It was at this time the Igbo now knew he had finally used up any sympathies that he had from the people but rather than adjust to this new reality, the Igbo continued with his senseless killings of unarmed civilians. There was even talk of Igbo soldiers capturing civilians for the sole purpose of using them for diabolical human sacrifices to fortify themselves.

They were in no way or form victims but the very belligerent aggressors who provoked anti Igbo sentiments on themselves that still lives on till this very moment.

You were never expected to accept any contrary narrative that exposed your war crimes and mistreatment of the minorities on not just the old eastern region but also in the then neutral mid west region.

You can continue to lie to yourselves that your invading orcs where civil but there are people alive today who hold very vivid personal memories of the atrocities of your Igbo soldiers on the minority people.

You wonder why the ND has no love for you. Maybe if you did a honest review of your actions and tendered an unreserved apology this would not be the case but instead you dismiss their own narrations as Nigerian govt war propaganda.

You see nobody needs to write books on the biafran war other than you who needed to twist the real motives of the senseless war and to whitewash your dastardly acts.

The minorities in the old eastern and mid western region are however seeing reason now than ever to document their experience so as to warn the current and future generation from letting their guard down with the Igbo.

You will never change nor relent nor repent of your quest to annex the Niger Delta entirely into your lame Igbo empire .

Ojukwu abandoned his Biafra nation to their fate .

I have said it here severally that the Igbo needs to create a shrine for both Lugard and Gowon.

Lugard and the British for putting an end to the Arochukwu slave raiding and human sacrificing cult and for whom the Igbo was able to finally exist out of the darkness of Alaigbo into the light of civilization. Without Lugard and the British expedition, igbos will be no different than the cannibal tribes of Papau New Guinea.

As for Gowon, his insistence on continuing the war despite the original aim being to liberate the Niger Delta regions was to bring the Igbo back into Nigeria . This was both personal and also heavily influenced by Igbo lobbyist who had grown weary of an Igbo nation without the Niger Delta to leach on. Gowon saw Igbo reintegration as a checking mechanism to future Jihadist ambitions .

To further accelerate Igbo integration back to Nigerian society, Gowon secured a pledge not to expose atrocities committed by both biafran soldiers and overzealous northern Jihadist elements bent on revenge for the Igbo bloody coup.

It is for this reason many Igbo war criminals and Nigerian officers alike were never tried after the war.

This has however given the Igbo an excuse to whitewash his image as a hapless victim despite all the atrocities committed on defenseless civilians in the Niger Delta.

For years after the war, the Igbo has dominated the literature on revisiting the war he lost. This is unusual as the vanquished are not usually in the position to dominate the narrative but given Gowon's secret oath he pledged from his war cabinet and officers , we have hardly had a comprehensive and detailed report on the atrocities committed by Biafran rogue soldiers on the civilian populace. But instead we have been inundated with half truths and blatant lies from the likes of Chinue Achebe who was too cowardly to release his own lies when alive for fear of having himself and his book (There was a Country) totally dissmissd. Later on Marxist idiots like Chiamanda and a host of other Igbo Marxist have continued on this path of Igbo hapless victimhood without caring to even consider the elephant in the room - the minorities of the Niger Delta whom they have never given one single sentence in all their hogwash literature on the war. Then came IPOB to reinforce the lies on a wide scale that has now taking root as fact among the igbo populace who now see the ND as theirs to liberate and occupy.

Truly , I can say now that there are no hapless victims or innocent ones among the Igbo if they still insist on this madness of including the ND into their future tribal ambitions.

They should rather begin to explore annexing the adjourning middle belt areas of Benue and Kogi because we have grown tired in telling these cretins to back off from the ND

Igbos dealt with minority and wound would také the passing away of all the victims to heal.
you have no said anything. Just rambling as usual like the 'prof'

Liar.

Do you expect him to grant an interview citing dates and sources like he would do if he was presenting a researched paper?

If you want dates and specifics , kindly search for any of his works regarding the Igbo attempted genocide and population displacement of minority people from their land.

You igbos are satanically evil liars.

at least, you acknowledged he didnt make any point.

Why not ask Google.....it's full of igbo atrocities against minorities during the war......ecxept of course you want to play the Ostrich as usual.....just like the way you people have been denying the killings and atrocities currently being perpetrated by IPOB ESN in igboland..... some of you even foolishly claim that its DSS and fulani herdsmen thats doing all the killings.....we the rest of the country just siddon dey look una till una go Kill una self finish while pretending its DSS that killing you

Google did not grant the interview, someone did. If you allege, you must prove.

This is unfortunately the reality of the post war igboman. He has been lied to by those who should tell them the truth.
Just like they have ingrained the hatred for the yorubas in their children.....they keep blaming Awolowo for their loss of the war....first by lying Awo promised to also pull out of Nigeria if they did...and also blaming Awo for changing the Nigerian currency and food blockading which were the two most important factor that made Biafra lose the war.

He also wrote a book...lay your hand on it....the interview is not exhaustive on the topic.

Does his not mentioning it mean it didn't happen?

The greatest lie is telling lies to oneself
