I have a Honda pilot 2004, which I have packed for over a year now, I want to start using it so I went to the mechanic and do the necessary servicing.
but I noticed that my brakes are not working correctly when I step on the brake pedals, I will have to press to the floor before it holds the car, I thought it was worn-out brake pads, so I changed the brake pads to Asimco brake pads, but still, the problem persists. please what might be wrong?, is it a faulty ABS or something else?.. I need informed answers before I take it to the mechanic again...thanks

Please my Toyota Camry 1997/1998 is giving me headache. If I park the car in an open space where there's direct sunlight or if I drive it for let's say close to an hour, the mileage digits will clear off, disappear and the gear will no longer select until I drive to where there's shade and park for an hour before the mileage digits comes up again. If not, i will just be firing gear one all along.

What's the solution please?

Detect the leak and plug it. If leak is from the radiator, replace it. If not, continue to manage by topping up to the required level regularly.

If I engage the gear where D or R, the car jerks heavily. But if I've used the car for some time and it's warmed up I won't experience such symptom as it will engage quietly.

der is a leak smwhere,after ur day driving put a clean cartoon under it where u normally park,den check if u will see water/coolant drop in d morning, begin ur inspection from:
D radiator fins
Radiator cap
Hose
Water pump...gudluck

I have a VW Passat cc 2012, for a while now it's been difficult to get it started in the morning, it will start and go off immediately. Now it doesn't even start again. We have used 3 different VW specialists but none seem to get why the issue is. The last person that was referred to us said there's an issue with the fuel pump, (meanwhile the previous mechanics changed the fuel pump o we've bought 3 different fuel pumps now) and below was the quote he gave us
Need to buy a new fuel pump(the original)-60k, 2 sensors in the engine-25k, and workmanship 65k===== 150k
After we agreed and he did all of these he now decided that he would need to tow the car to his workshop and get it properly checked as he was seeing some bypass in the engine or so. He towed the car and now he's giving us another quite that these things need to be worked on again. Pls I need your advice on this because I feel this guy is just taking advantage of my ignorance on car matters.

I have a 2008 Honda Accord, 4cl. I recently changed the radiator after the previous radiator was leaking seriously.


I noticed rising engine temperature when in traffic with ac on. I have taken it to the mechanic for inspection, the radiator and condenser fins have been flushed and the fans have been inspected, the water too. The car does not overheat at all when I'm moving fast.

Once I get into traffic for 15-30 minutes. The temperature gauge passes the half mark.

One of the mechanic believe it's a blown head gasket problem while the other mechanic is suggesting I change the radiator.

The current radiator in the car is a double cell eod radiatorand I have no thermostat. All the mechs are saying the radiator should work just fine.

I'm about to pour some money on purchasing a new radiator tomorrow. But I am not Soo sure that's the solution to the problem. I would appreciate response from the car gurus or anyone with similar experience

That Mechanic need slap, did he bother to check cylinder 4?
quick check/test you can do
1 Unplug the cable to the spark plug in cylinder 4 see if the sound changes,
2 remove coil in cylinder 4 and see if sound or vibration changes
3 interchange it with cylinder 2 or 1 to see if sound changes
these test are to see if its ur spark plug or coil package has fault.
