If a learned man, who claims to have attended some of Nigeria's best business programmes at the highest level, and rose to become one of Africa's topmost bankers, can spend at least 12.78Bn Naira to build a religious building - while also claiming that the state is broke, something is cursed about the entire story.
See the infographic, the Akwa Ibom State Governor, Udom Emmanuel has constructed a most dramatic project - clearly an avenue for money laundering - against the outcry of the suffering and starving Akwa Ibom people. And he spent a whopping 12.78Bn Naira on record. Meanwhile, only he and his accomplices know how much he truly spent since they have disappeared three years worth of valuable expenditure information.

That structure would serve as the throne of judgment so it needs to be beautiful.

That's how all Nigerians politicians do. Something that can be done with N10, N1000 will be budgeted for it.
Actually the worship center is the most useless project ever carried out by any government. There is no different between Udom Emmanuel and some useless Northern governor's using government funds to build mosque, send people to pilgrimage when millions are languishing in poverty.

Religion is a private and individual affairs in a sane country. Government has no hand in religion ,
As a traditionalist I am waiting for government who will come and build a mighty shrine for us and sponsor us to pilgrimage in Brazil

Actually akwa ibom government should shift focus on infrastructures the state have achieved much there. Look at akwa ibomites, there is high level of poverty in the land. Their indigenes keep running away from the state to do meagre jobs in other states. Go to their new mall, you won't see crowd there even on weekends and that is the only mall in akwa ibom oo. Look at the good roads, you won't see high rising beautiful befitting buildings to match them

Anytime I look at akwa ibom, I feel very bad because those people deserve the very best of life. Very peaceful people, very contented. You can stroll the entire uyo at midnight without any fear. They deserve a governor who will focus on people empowerment not structures

One wonder where all the monies that go to these Niger Delta states end up that there's so much poverty among the people....very unfortunate . How can a bayelsa thats just 8 LGAs be owing salaries and pension....a state thats not up to Ibadan in terms of LGAs (Ibadan has 11 LGAs) or Delta state that receives the highest allocation from Oil and gas be owing pensioners

Wickedness in this country is on another level. How can people be so so wicked. Your people live in poverty yet you govern them and you are not concerned

Anyway we voted our leaders, let's enjoy them
2023 is here again the same people suffering will soon queue up under the sun to vote their oppressors again.

Which airport? He didn't build d airport Even the airline is a private deal owned by an indegene. Don't depend on what you see on social platform. he has tried but his succeess can be likened to that of Buhari which is an irony. the only thing he's doing is building the main terminal which is about 50% uncompleted.
