broadman20:e be like your memory dey leak. Which Ebubeagu was formed by South East governors to tackle Fulani herdsmen menace? I thought you hypocrittes said ESN was formed to protect South East from Fulani terrorist? We haven't seen any Fulani you bastards caught yet. All your ESN has ever done is terrorise the people you claim they were formed to protect. Ebubeagu was formed to tackle the Igbo terrorists disguising as Eastern Security Network.... Because they are winning that war now, you guys have started all sort of propaganda against them. Bunch of failures you are! Can't you see that even the international community doesn't have interest in your noise anymore? You guys are a disgrace to humanity. Shameless hypocrites. Forever failures! 2 Likes |

broadman20: Given the likely equal atrocities committed by the same Federal Police and Military in the place I am from in the Middle Belt....I still think there is a sane constitutional manner to proceed with adopting State Policing. If a Governor is seen to clearly overstep and abuse his powers, his order and control privileges can be immediately revoked and taken away from him or her--leading to automatic impeachment. The state police can be answerable to a higher regional body that can act as neutral arbiter in sensitive local cases. But I am sure if the Governor knows that anytime he abuses his power privileges--a body of neutral judges from the state/region and responsible traditional leaders can also serve as living witnesses. State policing is one of the sane ways forward in restructuring Nigeria...it just needs the careful crafting of checks and balances to instantly check the propensity to abuse....which is a typically human trait. I still remember how even I abused my own power when given the charge of being a Class monitor in elementary 3. Nobody wanted me back as class monitor in elementary 4.... I understood clearly that I was simply super strict (you look at me the wrong way...I write your name down!). I have a conscience enough to know what I did was wrong. But not everyone can be self-reflective including Governors. There has to be a serious deterrent to make them even think of abusing their powers. As a wise man once said: "With great power, comes great responsibility". SM lol |
