You have been talking about this project for 16 years now without progress. Of course, nobody is allowed to insult the Lagos State Government because it is not FG's Lagos-Ibadan expressway. Just imagine the level of brainwashing and ediocy being displayed on the front page over a project that has made all the major newspaper for 16 years. Here is a 2009 Nairaland thread about this same bridge: https://www.nairaland.com/294287/proposed-4th-mainland-bridge-lagosa Indeed, I am forced to agree that many Nigerians deserve to live and wallow in abject poverty, especially those palliative thieves at the lower end of the chain. How can the government even deliver on its promises when you all go about praising the same non-existing bridge for 16 years and counting. What kind of humans are we?? And when people try to point out the shortcomings of the government, you all turn it to Igbo vs Yoruba 1 Like 1 Share |

Eniitankorede: Actually, Lagos belongs to anybody who made use of it's infrastructures during his lifetime. Likewise every part of Nigeria. But ethnic division and bigotry will not allow us to realize this. Any move to develop any part of this country is welcome. So stop Anambra this, Enugu that. Yoruba people who spent all their lives in Anambra has no direct benefit from the bridge in Lagos, rather whatever built in Anambra he should enjoy. |

babajero: Many of you shouting lagos was capital territory have no knowledge of history. Even if you are still very young, check google, Lagos Island up to Surulere was capital. The rest was lagos state and built by lagos money. And secondly, federal government stopped new structures when capital moved to Abuja over 20 years ago. Since then Lagos development even became very fast and astronomical. Go and read young boy. 4 Likes 1 Share |
