Imsoblessed: To the Igbo , Biafra is never complete without the Niger Delta Biafra is not an Igbo nationalist movement alone it is an Igbo expansionist agenda. You can see this with how majority of Ojukwu's war cabinet and officers including a vast majority of the populace lost interest in Biafra the minute the annexed Niger Delta parts were liberated. From that point many of Ojukwu's most trusted officers and cabinet members began sabotaging their own war effort and opened secret back channels with Nigerian forces to begin negotiating for Igbo land to be re -integrated back into Nigeria . Their pleas and lobbies to Gowon was why he continued the war despite most of the hardliners in his govt and military wanting an end to the war with an Igbo nation sealed off from Nigeria. This is the truth. 3 Likes |

KwaraRat:go and read the Willinks report on the grievances of the Minorities in the Eastern region. it answers your questions about relationship between Igbos and others. i have been reading your comments and on first thought i wouldn't have even bothered replying you because your intentions and mindset has been tainted so a discussion with you would be an exercise in futility . 1 Like |

glacswhite: Where any of this existing in the old eastern region ? Enugu was the fastest developing city in the 50s because all the wealth from the resource rich Minority regions were being diverted to build Enugu from scratch. 1 Like 1 Share |
Re: Minorities In Nigeria Were Greatest Victims Of Biafra- US Based Professor by IGBOSON1: 12:09pm On Feb 27 |
glacswhite: And in addition: *Why has only one person of ‘minority’ stock been president since 1966? Of the three so called ‘major’ ethnicities, it was only the one revisionists say ‘oppressed and subjugated’ the ‘minorities’ that supported the person in question, while the so called ‘ndi liberators’ have been passing the presidency between themselves like two kids passing ball!? *Why is the so called ‘liberated’ Niger-Delta (especially Ijaw territory) unarguably the most polluted area in the world!? *And why is there no city in the ‘liberated’ region that compares with Abuja or Lagos….let’s not even talk of Dubai, Qatar or Luanda, that has the same oyel and gas they have!? You see, shortsightedness, greed, envy, stupidity and hatred for Ndigbo has led many a people to wind up being on the wrong side of history! |
Re: Minorities In Nigeria Were Greatest Victims Of Biafra- US Based Professor by IGBOSON1: 12:15pm On Feb 27 |
OhuDealer: Could you mention the resources that were diverted from the ‘minority’ regions build Enugu? And assuming, without conceding, that this was true, would you say it mirrors what has happened from 1970-date, where the resources of present day south-east and south-south have been used to build Lagos and Abuja…as well as make the politicians and entrepreneurs from those regions the wealthiest crooks not only in Nigeria, but the entire world!? |
