All that was written here are facts but there would be consequences. When it gets to that point, over 90% of Nigerians would have sank into multidimensional poverty. Then insecurity will skyrocket but that's where things will go out of hand.

Frustrated and now poverty stricken Southerners will become so angry at the killings by Fulani herdsmen that roving militias will be formed in many parts of the South and they would enjoy massive support from the locals. They will attack fulani herdsmen wherever they're passing or camped. The army will be brought in to crush locals but would be severely sabotaged.

Agitations for Nigeria's breakup will reach alarming levels and federal government will lose credibility.

The desperate search for oil in the North is in readiness of this. They would want to make it seem like North can do without South.

For the first time in history of Nigeria, those in support of breakup will be much greater than those against thus putting more pressure on already weakened federal government.
