A viral photograph showing Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu and U.S. President Joe Biden in talks at the White House is the latest in the series of misinformation being dished out by the political opposition.

We cannot just fathom the purpose of the mischief and the falsehood, which emanated from the rabid followers of Peter Obi.

The apparently photo-shopped image surfaced Tuesday night, on the heels of news that Asiwaju will embark on a foreign trip this weekend.

Although America was listed among his destinations, according to an unofficial report that was widely shared, we can confirm that the APC presidential candidate was in Abuja all through Tuesday. He was in Abuja on Monday as well, and has no need to surreptitiously leave Nigeria, like some candidates do.

Tinubu will be travelling to Bayelsa for a rally on Thursday, according to the party's campaign programme.

He is not scheduled to travel outside the country until the weekend for speaking engagements.

This is one of the many reasons why I distaste the victim mentality Obidients show when the tables are turned. Unless you are new to politics or politicking in Nigeria, by now people should already know that its generally a dirty game so no need to cry or wail unnecessarily when things fail to go your way or that of your candidate.

The native bulletproof concept is real. And it's nothing spiritual, just like there's nothing spiritual in the popular bulletproof vests from the West.

Both have their limitations, and I think the African version is less powerful.

I don't know when people involved in the native bulletproof will expose their methods to scientific scrutiny (as it's done overseas) and demonstrate what substances are used to fortify people's skin against cuts and bullets (with limits).

I have also seen juju at work I grew up in an area where violence and skirmishes were frequent occurrences so when I'm telling you that juju exist I'm talking from experience. The thing is majority of those who patronise juju don't always end well this I've seen also.
Juju practice inhibits growth and progress so I will agree with you on the need for its abolishment, in Islam the punishment for sorcery/magic is death because it is mainly destructive in nature

Odu Ifa is Ifa's lies but Socrates', Aristotle's, Hippocrates' writings are great works.

It's the same modern slaves condemning the great literary works of Otem. The Africans have a deep-seated inferiority complex and self-hate.

Ifa was a great philosopher and mathematician (arithmetician) during his time in this part of the world. He was a man well ahead of his time, and the Yorubas can never forget that name, Ifa.

The Yorubas, both in his time and thousands of years after, saw his works too wise and great and deemed it feat to elevate him beyond a mere mortal to an orisa, worthy of worship.

(Just like people revere great footballers like Messi and Ronaldo today.)

The Odu Ifa is a great work of arts, philosophy, history, and ethics containing almost all the Yoruba proverbs that we know, among other great words of wisdom. Just like Confucianism represents the thoughts and beliefs of the Chinese, Ifa represents the thoughts and beliefs of the Yorubas.

The Odu Ifa for all its greatness has its limitations, just like the Bible and Qur'an. But Africans, who see themselves as less of a human than other races, would condemn their own great ancestors and their works, focusing on the limitations and using those to condemn the whole works.

It's like someone saying Google is evil because it contains bad websites and forums.

Ifa, Otem (who brought a new language), Atum, Socrates, Hippocrates, Aristotle have all written their names on the sands of time for their works.

If some nonentities on Nairaland condemn Ifa or Otem, he's only making a fool of himself.
