What you call poor (Lazarus scenario), is plenty in heaven. Show me a man who is so fixated on riches, and I will show you a man whose heart is far from the things of God.
Christ Himself abhored emphasis on materialism. Thus was He able to overcome that aspect of the Temptation by Satan.

You could simply have indicated that paying of taxes - tithes,offerings, Temple tax, fellowship offerings - where all instead a part of the Old Law of Moses which doubles as the National Constitution of the Nation of Israel, a nation God constituted of the people of Israel, God's people.

In the Kingdom of God, Jesus Christ instead taught His followers that the children of the King do not pay taxes:rather it is the people that do - Matthew 17 vs 24 - 27

Our God of riches is the God of the Richest.

Poverty is a curse laid upon the ungodly.

Tithe is just 10% of whatever you earn, offering is at the discretion, giving good directions to travelling strangers is charity, sharing your bed with a person who has no room in the university is housing the homeless

You do not need to be rich to give love and the poor do have a lot of love to give but they miss it

I am afraid you reason this in the way that those in the world would. Things don't work the same it as does in the world in the Kingdom of God. Jesus Christ taught you this and showed you many examples of this during His time on earth through examples such as His feeding of 5000 with just five loaves and 2 fishes, His healing of many sick without spending even a dime on medical expenses, and His raising the dead and casting out of demons.

If Heaven was a game of numbers for God from the beginning, then Jesus Christ would not have indicated that the multitudes will find their way into the Kingdom of God via the Broad gate which leads to destruction aka Hell; whereas only a few will find the Narrow gate that leads to True Life aka Heaven. You seem worried about how many we can reach and feed and cloth but Jesus Christ only asked that His own take care of His sheep, not everyone.
