The National chairman of Concerned Nigerians For Better Nigeria (CNBN) former senior legislative aide to the deputy senate president federal republic of Nigeria. Olorogun Ovie Omo Agege, who also doubles as senior special assistant (SSA Political) to governor Ifeanyi Okowa of Delta state. Olorogun Godwin Obire (JP) from Agbarho Orhokpokpo, today said the All Progressives Congress, APC, will be defeated at the national and it will remain an opposition in Delta State for many years to come.

He said this is because of clueless leadership and anti-people, socioeconomic policies that have ruined the robust economy inherited from the PDP government in 2015.

Obire berated the APC for the unjust criticisms of the laudable projects and socioeconomic development so far embarked upon and diligently executed by Governor Ifeanyi Okowa’s administration.

Obire, who was a guest at the Delta Broadcasting Television, Asaba, made the assertion today.

“APC in Delta State will continue to unjustly complain as an opposition, which is expected, and it will remain in opposition in the state for many years to come as a renowned complainant and blame game party.

“PDP is in full strength and capacity Sheriff Oborevwori is the next governor and Atiku is the next President of Nigeria. The leadership under our amiable Chairman, Senator Iyorchia Ayu, will certainly take back our country from the propaganda party, APC, in 2023,” he said.

Obire, who is the spokesman of Orhokpokpo community in Agbarho kingdom, Ugehelli North Local Government Area, said projects executed by the Okowa-led PDP in the state will stand the test of time in terms of quality, size and durability.

He commended Governor Okowa for his visionary leadership.

According to Obire, the governor’s administration legacy projects, especially the N20 billion Obi Chike Edozien State Mega Secretariat housing 27 ministries, departments and agencies of government with in-built 1,000 capacity car park space, banks, mini-hospital, creche, shopping mall, business centres, centralised internal connectivity and 8.5 Mega Watts IPP Power supply, attests to the governor’s ingenuity.

Obire noted that the state secretariat, occupying a whopping 45,000 meters of land space, situated along Marian Banbagida Way, in the state capital, will for a long time remain the best in Nigeria.

He said it takes the spirit of excellence and prudent management of resources to execute a project of that magnitude at a time the nation’s economy radically nose dived due to mismanagement of the nation’s economy by the ailing national government of the All Progressives Congress, APC.

“Governor Okowa is a visionary leader and his monumental legacy projects attest to this fact. The state secretariat is second to none in Nigeria. He constructed and rehabilitated so many roads which is why he’s Nigeria’s Roadmaster and nice vice president by God grace.

“There are other projects too numerous to mention because I have lost count. He has been able to tenaciously build on the foundation laid by Chief James Ibori and Dr Emmanuel Uduaghan, and this is commendable and worthy of emulation,” he added.

No wonder with highest allocation in the Federation from the FAAC, the state is still highly under developed.
