If this is the genuine article, and not some caper from VIO Lagos, then yes, you can drive in the UK..for up to 12 months. ..then you have to apply for DL in the UK.

(Though with the good public transport in the UK, you may not need to drive much.)

Federal Gov of Nig issues International driving licence. Which I have used severally in the past. So is Lagos taking over the powers of Fed Gov to issue such licenses.

Yes, you can use it to drive outside the country. some persons are already using it. Its not new in Nigeria

you can use it to drive for the first one year. That is the essence. Then you apply for UK License after it expires

Yes, you can use it to drive outside the country. some persons are already using it. Its not new in Nigeria
you need to re-read what was written, this is not a licence but a car permit for cars not drivers

The first set of vehicles to be removed from Lagos roads are that of Nigerian Police Force. Maintenance is ZERO.... Their face and vehicle always looks alike.

Yes, you can. I used to use the old one abroad. I am guessing this one would be plastic and not the old paper card. However, that was issued by the Federal Government. I don't know why Lagos State is hijacking it.

The Director also disclosed that the VIS has commenced clamp down on rickety commercial vehicles without proper documentation and safety standards as prescribed, in section 12 (2) of the State’s TSRL, 2018.

True. UK invests heavily on transport sector especially London & the West Midlands. There are night buses and night train services in some zones of London.
