I had a pgce interview last and I wasn't given a place due to my pronunciations of words and grammar. I have another interview on 5th and 7th, please how can I adjust to speak more like English as I am applying for pgce primary with specialist in mathematics. Anybody that has tips on how I can improve my pronunciations will be appreciated. |

Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 5 by pancaro(m): 7:38am On Dec 02, 2022 |
Its a simple thing. The moment you book from the site of the airline, still go back and input your reference number. Then if nothing pops up you can go and make trouble at their office rather than getting embarassed at the airport Katcheegirl: 2 Likes |

Please does anyone know the turn around time for super priority visit visa? The one that should ideally be out in 5 days. I want to get an idea of how long it takes at the moment. Please what’s the best way to pay the visa fees from Nigeria? Which bank cards do they accept? Thank you |

My Sister intends going on vacation with her three children to the UK. She is a full time house wife and doesnt have much inflow and out flows in her account. Her husband is going to sponsor the trip. He is a business Man but he doesnt have a registered business name or account . All is business transactions are done on his personal account. He has enough cash flow to cover the trip. what documents do they need to provide? Hope the Husband not having a registered company be an issue with POF in the account as sponsor? |

Please how can my white girlfriend apply for me to come over to be living with her. Thanks |
Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 5 by advanceDNA: 11:29am On Dec 02, 2022 |
lahify: Girlfriend cannot apply for u to go and officially be living with her cos civil partnership cannot be established between u both... Shebi una wan marry?? Let ur girlfriend come and marry you in naija then jappa.... Or u do tourist visa to her location not linked to her.......u get there ..u marry her.... If she invite u for visit...ECO go bounce u sharpally cos them go assume say u go over stay... especially if u dont have any solid home ties like good paying job, etc.... |

Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 5 by leef2022: 12:38pm On Dec 02, 2022 |
advanceDNA: I'm not sure tourist or standard visa holder are allowed to marry or enter any civil partnership with that category of visa. On the other hand if proof of relationship can be established and his partner meets the annual income trenchhold, she could actually file an application for him under the civil route |
Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 5 by advanceDNA: 2:00pm On Dec 02, 2022 |
leef2022:. marriage or fathering/mothering a child with a citizen remains one of the grey areas immigrants on any visa class have been using to bypass the system |

My man’s passport will expire in January 2024, but he wants to use that same passport to apply for a 5- or 10-year UK visa. This passport is only good for 1 year and 6 weeks. Can he use that passport to apply for a 5- or 10-year visa? |
Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 5 by leef2022: 3:17pm On Dec 02, 2022 |
advanceDNA: "Overview You can visit the UK as a Standard Visitor for tourism, business, study (courses up to 6 months) and other permitted activities. You can usually stay in the UK for up to 6 months. You might be able to apply to stay for longer in certain circumstances, for example to get medical treatment. What you need to do Check if what you plan to do in the UK is allowed as a Standard Visitor. Check you meet the eligibility requirements. Check if you need to apply for a visa to visit the UK. Apply for a Standard Visitor visa online - if you need one. What you can and cannot do (‘permitted activities’) You can visit the UK as a Standard Visitor: for tourism, for example on a holiday or vacation to see your family or friends to volunteer for up to 30 days with a registered charity to pass through the UK to another country (‘in transit’) for certain business activities, for example attending a meeting or interview to take part in a school exchange programme to do a recreational course of up to 30 days, for example a dance course to study, do a placement or take an exam as an academic, senior doctor or dentist for medical reasons You cannot: do paid or unpaid work for a UK company or as a self-employed person claim public funds (benefits) live in the UK for long periods of time through frequent or successive visits marry or register a civil partnership, or give notice of marriage or civil partnership - you’ll need to apply for a Marriage Visitor visa"-copied-gov.uk My question now why do you need a grey area when you can have a green area as well....? The marriage or civil partnership would continually be under checks and you would be at the mercies of this person to some degree... Grey areas could be interpreted differently by different persons or judge. You are not even certain of the bypassing, immigration policies are constantly changing; making such bypass hard by the day. |

advanceDNA: You are actually right with this, but posting this online is like exposing ourselves. This is the type of information we posted online in the past that messed up our opportunities to seek asylum in Canada and Ireland. We always like to expose ourselves. Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 5 by leef2022: 6:43pm On Dec 02, 2022 |
advanceDNA: Same way people arrive by boats, sea and others. Every system has its fault. The less you encourage people about it or warn about the difficulties it involves the lesser it would be an option. Your earlier post lacked any of the above, rather made it seem was the better option, which it is actually not. |
Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 5 by advanceDNA: 7:14pm On Dec 02, 2022 |
leef2022: I am not encouraging people ...i was talking to one specific person that genuinely has a girlfriend and the system in place is rigged against him... I suggested first he marry her here and japa first But i am fan of love and i would do anything to see my girl even if it means visiting and jumping my visa.... make nobody come dey straff my girlfriend.... Make we no dey form holy than thou about these things.....for example, POF is a huge issue after pple look for tuition and IHS...but u know how e dey go naaa?? |
Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 5 by leef2022: 9:01pm On Dec 02, 2022 |
advanceDNA: Yeah, "one specific person" on a public forum read by many. BTW, if in trying to jump, and the system catches up to you, would you not find love again or would your fear of what possibly could happen to your love life not happen? In interpretation of your "grey area". Yes you advised the op to get the lady visit for a marriage yet your follow up advise and trying to defend it, annulls your first advise, which means you're directly and indirectly encouraging him and others. |
