They have no birthdays, don't believe in miracles, holy spirit, dresses like a cult, don't celebrate Christmas and refuse blood transfusion. I like to think they are or course Christians, but misguided. They misinterpret the bible and then form doctrines around it. It isn't right. But I heard they are now reforming |

onyemaair: You want to know how the true Christian group should be or you're just interested in what the world wants Christianity to be? For your information Jehovah's Witnesses organization is the one and only group practicing what Jesus taught that's why we totally differs from all other religions. ©Jesus wanted his disciples to visit people in their homes! Matthew 10:11-13 ©He taught them never to hate anyone even those who wants to kill them {Matthew 5:43-48} so they can't pick up weapons in support of any leader since Christ their preferred leader has commanded them to drop weapons! Matthew 26:52 ©He wanted them to have the same line of thought {John 17:22; 1Corinthians 1:10} despite being far away from one another {John 2:24} ©He taught them never to allow anything come in between them no matter what they must be willing to lay down their lives for their fellow believers! John 13:34-35; 15:11-12 He told them that if they're doing exactly what he taught them they will be known globally as a unique family of faith {Matthew 5:14-16} it will be as if each of them has houses throughout the earth because anywhere they go their families in faith will be ready to accommodate them {Mark 10:28-30} they will be hated by all other religions {John 15:19} and many will call them a CULT group! Matthew 10:22-25 So if you truly want to know how God's people are faring in this time of the end move closer to JEHOVAH'S WITNESSES but if you're only interested in the common way people worship around you then forget about JWs! MaxInDHouse: Jesus himself answers (John 10:17,18): For this reason the Father loves me, because I lay down my life that I MAY TAKE IT UP AGAIN. 18 No one takes it from me, BUT I LAY IT DOWN OF MY OWN ACCORD. I HAVE AUTHORITY TO lay it down, and I have AUTHORITY TO TAKE IT UP AGAIN. This charge I have received from my Father.” *Nothing can be clearer than these words of Christ; the life which He surrendered would be the same life which He would take again. 2 Likes |

Aemmyjah: According to Peter, Jesus was “put to death in the flesh but made alive by the Spirit” (1 Peter 3:18 NKJV). Some (including you) have used these words to suggest that the resurrection body was not material flesh but immaterial “spirit". #This interpretation is neither necessary nor consistent with the context of this passage and the rest of Scripture. First of all, the passage can be translated “He was put to death in the body but made alive by the [Holy] Spirit” (NIV); it is rendered with this same understanding in others as well. [Paul also tells his fellow brethrens at Rom8:11 " If the SPIRIT of him who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you.........] What is more, in the New Testament the parallel between “death” and being “made alive” normally refers to bodily resurrection. For example, Paul declared that “Christ died and returned to life” (Rom. 14:9), and “He was crucified in weakness, yet he lives by God’s power” (2 Cor. 13:4). Also, the context refers to the event as “the resurrection of Jesus Christ” (1 Peter 3:21), which is everywhere understood in the New Testament as a bodily resurrection. Finally, even if “spirit” does refer to Jesus’ human spirit (rather than to the Holy Spirit), it cannot mean Jesus had no resurrection body; otherwise, the reference to His “body” (flesh) before His resurrection would mean He also had no human spirit. Hence, “flesh” in this context refers to His whole condition of humiliation before the Resurrection. *Being humble enough to check the scriptures out for yourself even if it contradicts your religious dogma is always a bold step in the right direction. 2 Likes |

OgaNightmare: Jesus sacriced 2 things His bread and wine for mankind The bread is his fleshly body (perfect body) The wine is his blood There are 9 resurrection in the Bible. Jesus Christ was the 7th person but his own was different cos he was made alive in the spirit. If you believe differently, then you may apply same analog to those who were resurrected as well like Dorcas, jairus daughter Flesh and blood CANNOT inherit God's kingdom He was not recognize by his disciples after he was resurrected after ONLY three days. If he were to travel for a year and come back, everyone can easily recognize him, even if na 10, 20 years Why did Mary Magdalene not recognize him after the 3rd day though they conversed? Why did thomas not believe his fellow disciples that he was raised as if jesus christ did not tell them he will be raised up? Why did he insist on being able to see Jesus Christ in the with the holes in his body? Why did he believe, not when he saw Jesus Christ but when he saw those hole and touched them? Don't argue with people that God has blessed with insight and true knowledge. Calm down and be humble and learn |

Aemmyjah:Chris was raised up with an incorruptible body "a glorified body" fit for heavenly life. At 1 Corinthians 15:40 : There are heavenly bodies and earthly bodies, but the glory of the heavenly is of one kind, and the glory of the earthly is of another. At verse 53 Paul continues: "For this perishable body(our mortal human bodies made of dust) must put on the imperishable, and this mortal body must put on Immortality." Not an immaterial body 2 Likes |

Aemmyjah: #I admit the NIV error, my bad *"In the" not "As a" note the difference* Then checkout other English versions below Hence, “FLESH” in this context refers to His whole condition of humiliation before the Resurrection; “SPIRIT” refers to His unlimited power and imperishable life afterward. *This is a second explanation still does not ruled out the first that I made* |

MaxInDHouse: Who are we going to believe? Your wicked organization that opposes the truth of God's word or what the word of God teaches. The verse below confirms that Jesus has a body but it is a glorious one; Philippians 3:21 Who shall change our vile body, that it may be fashioned like unto HIS GLORIOUS BODY , according to the working whereby he is able even to subdue all things unto himself. And it says that our bodies will be transformed also to be like his glorious body. I know that you are thinking of another lie to fabricate. Interpret the above verse for me. 1 Like |

OgaNightmare: JWs will never admit they are wrong. Never! Even though they are all falling into a pit. This explanation of yours is consistent with other Bible verses. I remember another Bible verse I bumped into, I can't remember if it is John in Revelation or Daniel, one of them, was said to be in the spirit while he was seeing the visions. Does that mean that one of them was in spirit form? No. It meant that they were under the influence of the Holy Spirit to see those visions. Common sense should tell JWs that when they have a doctrine that doesn't go with many other Bible verses, it is time to change that doctrine after all their so called Faithful Slave make too many mistakes in doctrines. How can you argue over a doctrine when there are so many other verses that totally destroy it? I have been asking them to explain why Jesus said he will raise up his body in 3 days and why Jesus told Thomas that he is not a Spirit. Not one of them could answer. They all went into their Robotic mode. Mad MaxInDHouse says Jesus lied and deceived Thomas that he had a physical body because Thomas was not ready to be told the truth. How Mad Max was able to read the mind of Jesus from 2022 down to thousands of years ago is Marvellous. And they get offended when they are called a Satanic Cult. |

Courz just take a look at this, first a clear denial of the words of Christ and later a shameless admition of the plain language used in the passage. Do the really have God's Revelation as the claim? *Therefore, in answer, the Jews said to him: "What sign have you to show us, since you are doing these things?" In answer Jesus said to them: "Break down this temple, and in three days I will raise it up." Therefore the Jews said: "This temple was built in forty-six years, and will you raise it up in three days?" But he was TALKING ABOUT THE TEMPLE OF HIS BODY. (NWT) #Now look at the interpretation of that verse from the Watchtower: "This setting shows that Jesus was not talking about his physical body, but "he was talking about the temple of his body". ... Now with this broadened view of matters we must return to the consideration of Jesus' words, "In three days I will raise it up." We have seen how he did start giving attention to the building up of the temple of living stones after his resurrection on the third day of his death. ... this building of "the temple of his body" started then and continued through the years that followed ... Jesus' words, "In three days I will raise it up," were merely predicting that the [spiritual] temple would be raised up on the third day after his death on the torture stake, and Jehovah God was the one who raised up the temple by first raising up the head member of it, the Lord Jesus Christ, and from then on, from that third day on, God used him to raise up all the other members of the temple class. (Zech. 6:12) So through the Roman military the Jews broke down the chief and initial member of God's spiritual temple, but on the third day Jehovah raised him as a spirit creature and chief cornerstone of the spiritual temple. –The Watchtower, October 1, 1952, page 606-607. *Absolutely concocted and covoluted explanation, the level of heresy in this explanation is top notch. Now look at what they later admitted; "To begin with, Jesus himself repeatedly foretold that he would be raised from the dead. Early in his ministry he referred to it, saying: "Break down this temple, and in three days I will raise it up." "He was talking about the temple of his body." (John 2:19-21) ... How can we understand all these plain statements if Jesus was not actually raised from the dead? –The Watchtower, November 15, 1969, page 678. Funny people |

Paul was talking about the BORN AGAIN Christians {John 3:5-6} they will be taken to heaven with Jesus {1Thessalonians 4:16-17} their physical bodies will decay but they will be given a spiritual body with which they will live as angels in heaven! OgaNightmare: If you follow Watchtower, you will be caught in a constant state of confusion. These people use words to confuse the ignorant. These people are confused. It is true that some translations say Temple of his body just as there are others that say The Temple is his body. The same Bible also says our Body is a Temple. Therefore, the Temple is his body! So, why is Watchtower confusing people by saying that the Temple Jesus was referring to was not his Body? Why are people following these Confusionists consulting with demons that derive joy in confusing them? |
Re: Are Jehovah Witness People Real Christians? by Courz: 10:56am On Dec 03, 2022 |
OgaNightmare: Mad MaxInDHouse is an Antichrist who derives joy in concocting stories that never happened in the Bible just so that he can prove that Watchtower is right. He posted a Bible verse that says nothing about his delusion. Two angels were there but the verse never said the Angels took Jesus body. The same verses after it says Jesus was also there. Mad MaxInDHouse is just a Buffoon with a Maggot infested brain. He should have remained in Islam because clearly he is doing a horrible job defending Watchtower. |

If you have anything tangible to say type it and let's discuss because all JWs have the same line of thought regarding the life, ministry, death, resurrection and ascension of Jesus. Many PIMOs fade better into oblivion once they move or change location. Just play along but do it to the barest minimum. You are not alone. PIMOs plenty. JWs are under Serious Spiritual manipulation from demons that Watchtower communicate with. That's why they cannot understand many Bible verses and refuse to accept verses that contradict their doctrines. |
