. ....The Nigeria Startup Act wishes to draw the attention of the Nigerian populace to the fraudulent message being spread on the internet by a malicious website, "nationalinvestmentstartupfund.com".

The fraudulent website, "nationalinvestmentstartupfund.com" , purporting to be startup funding is asking Nigerian citizens to apply for a national startup investment fund claimed to be backed by the Federal Ministry of Industry, trade, and investment.

This information is not listed on the Nigeria Startup Act official website which makes it malicious and should be disregarded by the public. Kindly refer to our official website and social media accounts for legitimate information about the progress of the Nigeria Startup Act.”

What are you saying? @Franzinni. You are just off point. It's a Federal Government Intervention/Initiative.
yes but we are in Nigeria ... And you know what I mean .. I was only asking for clarification why the features seem not to work as the forms that will be filled will require citizens to fill in sensitive details ... I just need some clarity.

There is nothing to be afraid of, @Franzinni. You have nothing to lose and the Federal Government, can't just steal your details.

It's stated there that they will verify before disbursing funds. You will agree with me that they will have to request for your information to confirm the validity. It's just like Npower, but in this case, you own your business and you are working for your business.

I know it's a new initiative, recently signed into law, but Instead of trying to dissuade people, why not just verify from the authority.

If you need clarification, email them or go to Ministry of Trade and Investment.
sorry to sound skeptical, I understand you are trying to help ... Maybe I was too quick to react ... But the phone number was a dud and that got my spider senses going ...anyway I know I can benefit from it that is why I decided to check. The phone number should be complete tho or am I that old?!
