He’s an APC and Tinubu supporter, they go about lying to people against relocating abroad to save face.
If you are Health worker or a software developer relocate if you can. Do you know how many jobs I would have gotten as a web developer if I am currently based in Europe or America? The are uncountable. Though I am currently working for a popular financial institution here but I am planning to leave this country for the tribalistic and religious bigots that are hell bent on fostering bad leadership on this country.

The truth is that most people in Nigeria work for money and not passion.... You may think he's being humbled but you don't know if he's finally decided to rest with his passion and still make a decent living

There is nothing like top banker , if you don't own the bank then your are just an employee

People are not running away because they lack money rather, they lack peace of mind. Happiness is key in life. Imagine, working 30days and a Governor or CEO decide not to pay your salary just because his/her daughter failed an exam or because you complained.

See, people had to go through school to secure a good life for their children. Schools abroad ain't cheap so, money is not the problem. A host of Nigerians are on blood pressure and hypertension drugs. Is that a life?

Fuel of 240 per litre is now 300 this week without prior notice and salary will not change. Is that a sane country? Suffering and smiling is not too good for our health especially the younger ones. They rarely feed well and live a happy life as we had while growing.

Well, the future of the country lies in our hands. If we like, we use tribalism to elect our leaders, if we like, we use religion or other sentiments to pick them. We will gather suffer for it.

Whoever we choose, we go gather enjoy or suffer for it....Just ensure you vote your conscience so that when the suffering or enjoyment comes, you will be sad or happy.

I only know Vuejs and React and I am already getting interview invites for jobs abroad while working for a bank here in Nigeria. How much more when I relocate to Uk or Canada even as a student.

I am now thinking of leaving the country. The worsening economy is chasing me out. It is actually the worsening Naira value and the nightmare in making online payments are my biggest headaches

One of my IT mentor boss arrived here and started earning around 150k/yr with this same programming skills he developed from nigeria.. all he takes for him to do was go for another 6month course... now his a chairman...

He is good at Java, and C++ ... I mean he can write codes on plan paper and if you type it into an editor and compile it he would run without error

I would have simply shown his Facebook page but that's violating his privacy

Anyways anyone who attended LeadCity University around 2008-2012 would know Mr Solomon of Computer science department how good he is in programming and how he has since relocated to US with his family and proudly post pictures of him wearing his green reflector vest and construction helmet working at sites

But sometimes, you may be able to write and understand code but you don't even know how to build a proper software...
Majority of my computer science lecture back in Undergraduate days can write and understand codes... but they hav never successfully built one major software for a company before.... all they do is to maintain the school database or build small small students record system for some secondary schools...

Apart from class tutorials, I am not sure I have seen him develop a project from scratch..

But however during my final year project requiring me to develop an examination portal he was fully supporting me in all stages and we basically developed it together using HTML, PhP and JavaScript

Those once are basic programming projects...
No top IT will hire you to build HTML php simple project... you need to be able to design a to level software to get a job with this companies...

So as a lecturer it's pretty normal to know the basis...
But the said lecturer can still go for more training if he hav the time... 6months or less can really change his career

Well the reason for his career switch might not be because of lack of job opportunities or his skill set in development..

Apart from UK , Canada with Sponsored work Visa due to shortage in IT sector and maybe Italy with Digital Normad Visa... US Japparians in the IT sector usually need time to fully integrate into the very competitive US IT sector and this is why most Japparians to US make do with other Jobs till they can fit in to the US IT Labour market

Apart from the lecturer in question, I have another friend who got his master's degree in US, hasn't get an IT job, but works as a bouncer
