The Yangtze river, probably the largest river in China almost dried up. This led to power cuts as many hydroelectric dams depend on its water to produce electricity.

In Europe, the Rhine river, probably their largest too dried up quite a bit. It could no longer handle 2 way traffic but now one way. Farmers in Italy are now turning to crops that will do better in hotter weather such as groundnuts. It is very worrying.
