brocab: We all have the same line of thought {1Corinthians 1:10} so don't patronize me JWs believe the same thing! John 17:22 So if a JW tells you something all you need to do is ask for more explanation but when you misconstrue what a JW told you then don't think it's the JW that's different it's you that failed to grasp what the JW said. 1 Like |

pinkylovely: I'm telling you now that all you need to ask is further explanation not just concluding on what you heard from a JW. Jesus said: “Not everyone saying to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter into the Kingdom of the heavens, but only the one doing the will of my Father who is in the heavens will. Many will say to me in that day: ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name, and expel demons in your name, and perform many powerful works in your name?’ And then I will declare to them: ‘I never knew you! Get away from me, you workers of lawlessness! Matthew 7:21-23 So if you find anyone who doubt that there are wonders performed by religionists today {Revelations 16:14} then know that such a person is not a JW. What you supposed to ask is why are we not moved by their so called miracles? 1 Like |

pinkylovely: I'm also one of Jehovah witnesses We believe in miracles The world in itself is a miracle Life in itself is a miracle You're alive today is a miracle We believe the miracle in the bibles and there is the grandest miracle we are awaiting. That of leading mankind to perfection, the resurrection of our dead loved ones and the end to all injustices, sicknesses, pain and death and all forms of wickedness We don't accept the faith healing you see today. One reason is that most are staged Second reason is that most are just from pastors talking about what they did but they are baseless, lies Third, even the ones that look real are different from the ones in the Bible. Jesus Christ condemned those who came to him for miracles but did not accept God's word; he did not do miracles for public recognition and warned many he healed not to tell others what happened The ones today are far different, the pastors seem to be Jesus Christ mentors as they display no humble spirit, they do this in a struggle to promote their ministry against another. For example, Pastor A need to perform miracles so that his ministry will expand. Remember that Jesus Christ warned his disciples not to accept or have religious titles or be called leader or master. Today, we see how women with no regard for their spouse regard these leaders as daddy and kneel for them. Men kiss their hands or prostrate to them completely opposite of that jesus christ and his disciples did Jesus christ acknowledge that many will do powerful works in his name thinking they are pleasing to God but he said he will dismiss them as workers of lawlessness. For us, we do what Jesus Christ asked us to do- preaching and teaching about God's kingdom, all we do are give are free. We don't sell our books or Bibles unlike others and we don't force contribution from others. If you're thinking the true religion is one that perform miracles, you'll find yourself going to Satan himself cos his agents also do wonders but there is one quality Jesus Christ highlights for all who really want to know his followers found nowhere else. It is recorded at John 13:34,35. Ask yourself and find out who really display such love. Those who seem to display miracles don't have such love, they only preach it but when conflict comes, they kill and support wars and violence in the name of politics, ethnicity and nationalism. Members of the true religion today like Jesus Christ and his disciples will not pick up weapons even under threat to kill ANYONE (even opposing enemies) cos they are no part of the world. Their loyalty is to God and Jesus Christ and not man or government |

Aemmyjah: So, I'm I saying the truth or not as regards your belief system in relation to miracles. Here's a dictionary definition of miracle in case you've forgotten. 'An extraordinary and welcome event that is not explicable by natural or scientific laws and is therefore attributed to a divine agency'. And I'm very sure you knew what the OP was specifically talking about when he mentioned 'miracles'. Enough of beating around the bush. |

Re: Are Jehovah Witness People Real Christians? by pinkylovely: 8:33am On Dec 05, 2022 |
MaxInDHouse: I have not said anything based on hearsays. Because that's exactly what y'all conclude when you see people question your belief system. I'm still currently part of the JWs and their 'whosky' belief system. Been baptized. Was born here. So, if there's anyone that should be complaining about hearsays, I should be the one. No one asked for your extra unnecessary explanations. The statement made was a simple and clear one. OP said the JWs don't believe in miracles. That's the exact truth! What are you trying to sugar coat abi explain again? There's nothing wrong with saying 'Yes, the JWs don't believe in miracles'. Simple and short! What's there? Do y'all always have to start looking for a way to twist the meanings of clear and simple words in a bid to defending your belief system? Do you?! 2 Likes |

Aemmyjah: You are going off point. But I'll still answer you. Miracles the OP is referring to, which I'm sure YOU UNDERSTAND but just want to beat around the bush as y'all typically do are miracles like raising of dead, healing from potentially fatal sicknesses like cancer... You don't believe in them. You don't believe in them. You don't believe in them. You don't! |

pinkylovely: It is not wrong for me to hear your viewpoint, is it? Did I say I did not believe in miracles or you don't just agree with what I said? I might escape from an accident that no one can believe or understand how such escape is possible but I give God all the thanks and say it is a miracle. I can be faced with death dealing situations and I overcome it with God's help. Once I was so broke, I prayed and I receive a call that 10times the money I wanted was sent to my account. I've seen answers to my prayers and these are what people see as miracles I want to learn from you and I asked you the questions. Since you believe, which miracles do you see today? |

Re: Are Jehovah Witness People Real Christians? by MaxInDHouse(m): 8:54am On Dec 05, 2022 |
pinkylovely: The highlighted is enough to tell that you were never a real JW you only assume you're one because your parents born you in the midst of JWs. I ask you again "do you believe Jesus' word as recorded in the Bible book of Matthew 7:22?" That's what real JWs believe because Jesus adds that if care is not taken even the anointed will be deceived due to the wonders performed by false prophets. So if anyone says he doesn't believe false prophets are performing wonders such a person is not a JW meaning you weren't a real JW Sir! 1 Like |

MaxInDHouse: Nahhhh! The highlighted is enough to tell you that I'm not saying anything based on HEARSAYS! And that you should stop assuming that anyone who questions your belief system doesn't have any idea about the JWs or just say things based on hearsays. I don't care if you think I wasn't a real JW right from time or not. I don't need to explain anything to you. Lol. Another one here jumping into conclusions. pinkylovely: Why not requote it or mention it here? Listen, lemme clear you small Here in Nigeria, we basically see miracles in two ways One is the direct answers to our prayers and the other is the one done in church crusades and convention which is termed FAITH HEALING For example, a couple have been praying for fruitage of the womb for years and they get twins A widow is crying and praying cos she has nothing to eat and feed her children and someone comes in with food A graduate looking for job has lost hope in finding it but he is prayerful but one day he receives a message from one company he applied for that he has been employed A student is crying for admission and then gets admitted to the course he wanted A man is working, a large stone fell that narrowly missed him which could have killed him Months ago, a man shot at the vice president of Argentina but nothing came out but there was bullet it the pistol All these can be termed as miracles but critics may dismiss it as coincidence. If people call all these miracles, then I'm on the same page with them The other one called faith healing is what I don't believe in or accept I grew up a Pentecostal and a Pentecostal I was for 19 years and used to believe in them especially that of TB Joshua but when I examined them closely, they were laughable. I've been to so many crusades, so I know what I'm telling you. When large crowds came to Jesus Christ bringing their sick ones, ALL (not some) were healed and people saw it, enemies couldn't deny it. Jesus today would not sell miraculous 'bloood of Jesus' or stickers It's pure philosophy. When you stand and tell a large crowd of thousands that some will get married, some will buy cars, some will build houses, some will gain admission. That is not prophecies. Whether you prophecy or not, some among those people will marry as they plan, gain admission they seem, buy cars they plan to. They come back to give credit to Daddy GO. Jesus'miracles were not loud. If he were alive today, I'm not sure he'll allow his powerful works to be streamed But maybe I'm wrong and ignorant. So tell me, which miracles do you see today? |
Re: Are Jehovah Witness People Real Christians? by pinkylovely: 9:29am On Dec 05, 2022 |
Aemmyjah: Get a dictionary and read the meaning of miracle. Dictionary definitions are not limited to only Nigerians so I don't understand what you mean by 'in Nigeria here...'. Between, I will not repost what I have already mentioned and will not answer what have been answered already. |

pinkylovely: Ok then, why attack someone else who believe in it? I said I believe in miracles and you attack me for lying but you can't dispute what I said or come up with your own opinion If I say the sky is orange red and you think otherwise. You either correct me or respect my opinion. As you have nothing to say, stop being ignorant. Again I believe in miracles, real miracles and the greatest miracles are about to occur for all mankind and that is what we tell people. Those who do faithhealing today won't mention it |

OgaNightmare: I don't even know where to start with this their New Light. But the moment they mentioned Daniel 12, my mind went to a Testimony of a Freemason JW who was a Spirit Channeler for the Governing body. She said she Channelled Daniel chapter 11 and 12. Therefore, anything you hear from Watchtower based on those Bible chapters are products of Spirit Channelling. So, seeing the whole Watchtower study full of confusion and contradictions and how they tied in Daniel into it is giving strong Spirit Channelling. But what is making me laugh is the fact that they read other verses in Revelation but skipped Chapter 20 vs 5. If they had read that verse before writing the Watchtower they studied on Sunday, they would never have come up with their confusing New light. And this proves that Watchtower loves speculating a lot. The JW Cult was built on speculations and Prophecies since they have admitted that they are not inspired by the Holy Spirit. They love dates. Since they can't come up with prophecies, they just push their obsession with speculations into coming up with fantasies upon fantasies. Nowhere in the book of Revelation will you see anything like Preaching work campaign during the 1,000 year reign. Nothing about JWs teaching people of old. What is it that you want to teach people of old that they don't already know? What kind of delusion is this? Are they saying that God's people back then Know nothing about God and Jesus? Seeing all these delusions tells you that the Governing body are not mentally okay at all. Do JWs even know the implication of being on earth during the 1000 year reign? Do they know that the rest of dead didn't come to life until after the thousand years? These people don't know anything if only they will just drop all Watchtower publications and just read the Bible alone. After the 1,000 year reign comes Judgement of the Unrighteous. Watchtower is saying after they are resurrected, people will still do evil. Perfect people will still sin. Perfection is not instant so Blind, deaf, dumb, people etc will still be so. Wicked people will still be resurrected to do evil again. This their Paradise on earth is no longer looking like Paradise again. Their Paradise is the same world we are living in now. These people are Charlatans and Jokers! How are JWs not seeing the fukkery? What? And the Watchtower study made so many confused. If you go to exjw reddit, people are posting about the reactions they are observing from that Watchtower study. Some JWs were disappointed. A lot of them were confused. They were saying some JWs are beginning to say that if the wicked will be resurrected and still be given a chance in the New world, why on earth are they bothering themselves to preach now? That is a very good question. Some said why are they Preaching for 1,000 years again while they are Preaching now? Won't they rest? Their Paradise don change!

pinkylovely: Lol After telling you about 3 times now You have not said anything cos u know where it will lead you to na If you are not afraid, open up It's a free world There's freedom of speech in this forum You dismissed mine Tell me the miracles you see today The one that pastors with heavy guards give people stickers to post on their doors to chase away criminals Or the ones that a pastor will carry a pregnant woman over his shoulders like wrestlers do and slam against chairs to drive out demons from her? Which one have you seen? Lemme share an experience, a brother was preaching and went to eat at a canteen and he was overhearing a man talking to his friend how he was able to buy a door cos he was not walking This was many years ago The man said that an evangelist known all over the world was coming to the city. He is known to attract very large crowds in his crusades especially in Africa and known for miracles So the evangelist was to come to the city, a pastor came to this man and told him that he had job for him. The job was this: He would act like he has a problem (I can't remember what the brother said the problem was but I think it is either sight or walking). He was to stay in the crowds of people but they will put a tag on his collar, some on their chairs a small tag but indisctint but the evangelist understood. As the evangelist was walking through the people, he was to approach as if he needed a miracle but the evangelist on seeing the sign will touch him. He is to pretend that he has been healed. That's how the young man made his money. When I heard the name of the evangelist, I was shocked, I did not believe it. The brother too did not want to believe it. His name was Evangelist Reinhard Bonnke. Don't forget that there was a stampede that killed many in Edo in his crusade. Same thing happened to Pastor Chris Oyakhilome in South Africa. He himself came out to dispute that his miracles were not fake. That's was in 2012 I think He was in South Africa (I hear he's banned from visiting the city), a man was in wheelchair and suddenly he ran to the toilet as he was preaching. The whole thing was funny indeed. There were no ushers around to lead him to the toilet when he was pressed. It became too much and he ran out. Is it a miracle that someone on wheelchair should run to the toilet? For us, we are deceived Again, tell us what miracles you are seeing today |

Aemmyjah: Do you skip posts on purpose or something? You've asked a question thrice, I've replied once, yet you want me to keep repeating? Who does that? No need for the explanations. Go through the dictionary and check the exact meanings of faith healing and miracles. And if you define faith healing the way you define it, then it means you also believe in faith healing because they are lots of verses in scriptures where Christ healed those who were sick based on the concept of faith. You and I know quite well what the OP was referring to. So, there's no need trying to pretend you don't understand that the poster was talking about MODERN DAY HEALING/MIRACLES! If you believe that there are people capable of healing others just like Jesus Christ did, then go ahead to answer me. Y'all beleive that after the time where an apostle was treated with a stomach ache with the use of wine, christians no longer had the power to perform miracles. So which one are you trying to explain again? Which?? If you don't, there's no need arguing about anything. This explains exactly why you can't go out to preach and see someone who's sick YET offer to pray for them. If you've ever done so, then that's FAITH HEALING. You pray and then you have faith will perform miracles even if to humans it doesn't seem possible. That's FAITH HEALING, Sir/madam. Stop trying to confuse yourself because you're trying to differentiate concepts here. If someone talks about miracles, you know exactly what they are referring to. So, coming here to type gibberish explaining reasons why you believe in miracles and not faith healing is quite contradictory. You are confusing yourself. What is 'i beleive in miracles but not faith healing'. Ain't faith healing also miracles?? If a prayer is made for a sick person with the concept of faith in mind and that person is healed, what's that? Miracle or no miracle? Except of course miracles have been classified into different types that I'm not aware of. And as long as you believed that Christ performed miracles and his disciples did so, believing that during this modern era, christians can no longer perform miracles is same as not believing in miracles. Don't come here and confuse yourself again. Do you believe in miracles? Short answer: NO! The dictionary definitions are very clear! Do you believe in faith healing? Short answer: NO! 2 Likes |

Is it wrong for me or ask for myself or myself to get well? What are you saying? I believe in miracles. You want to tell me what I believe Go and meet so called pastors to heal your faith How many times have we seen disappointment from people and media when there were no miracles? The pastor said the people had no faith... If people can travel from far and near for healing, how do you say they had no faith Do I believe in miracles even according to dictionary meaning, the answer is Yes. YES!!!! If I don't, I can't also believe what the Bible says about miraculous account or what it will do. Do I believe in the Faith healing done today? I don't. Even muslim clerics, eckist priests, psychics and juju doctors do 'faithhealing' I worked under a eckist man, he's also a jujuman. If you met me really sick and I asked that you pray for me and ask God to help heal my ill health? Will you? If you eventually did and I got healed. Like healed beyond human comprehension? Is that or is that not faith healing? I don't need to travel to meet anyone to pray for me. Fellow christians can pray for me too as well, right? That's why I said miracles is Nigeria has a broad meaning and I cited examples like childbearing and school admission I said being alive is a miracle, life in itself is a miracle I told you I believe but you said I don't Are u okay? I pray when I'm sick and I pray for my friends too, family and relatives, my brothers and sisters when they sick I have a cousin I'm praying for to have children after almost 15 years, won't I thank God when they come? There are several miracles I have seen even in the ministry I won't go to a Church for faithhealing. Is that hard for you to accept? I was a Pentecostal for almost 20 years, was an usher, drummer, very zealous guy and been to several churches but never witnessed any 'miracle' or 'faithhealing' but they will be posting testimonies after. pinkylovely: Your problem is just to attend meetings like a churchgoer your heart is not with what is been discussed at the meetings. You're like Judas Iscariot who happens to be with Jesus but by the time temptation came sold Jesus for money. If you've been following God's organization heartily you will know that even the so called miracle performing religionists are thoroughly deceived. I have attended several churches after i left Islam because after JWs made me believe in Jesus i don't want to follow them carrying bags so i thought i could find a second best Christian group practicing Christianity though not as good as JWs that's when i realized that most miracle performers are confused themselves because they don't know the purpose of miracles. According to Jesus of Nazareth miracles was planned to help the first century Israelites IDENTIFY the Messiah and the Jewish beneficiaries of the New Covenant, apart from that wonders and signs has nothing to do with gentiles. Matthew 15:20-24 So today Satan is backing false religions with powerful signs {Revelations 16:14} but they're only being deceived because Jesus will deny them {Matthew 7:23} WHY? Because they are not ready to work with his anointed brothers rather each of them just want the religion that suits their thinking to be established! 1 Like 1 Share |
