If I was Asiwaju, I will seriously consider sacking Keyamo or warn him seriously if he released Asiwaju’s visa to the public without his permission.

Even if he permitted him, I think it is ill advised, silly and dangerous. Now the public has the last 4 digits of his Social Security no and his visa details.

I mean it makes no sense to me.

Yeah. It makes no sense whatsoever.

South Africa budget shouldn't be used to compare to our own budget on anything. We are running a federalist system of government while South Africa is running a parliamentary system of government.

For example, if you want to compare allocation budgeted for Education between both country, for FG, you have to calculate FG Education allocation + Each State education allocation. That's what should naturally make up our educational allocation.

In the FG budget, the education allocation is just for tertiary education, most people (including Obi) do not even include various Educational intervention like SUBEB, TETFUND and the likes which are budgeted separately from the Education budget.

In the 2021 budget that was passed by Buhari, if you include SUBEB and TETFUND, the budget for education will be 1.094 trillion out of a 13 trillion budget.

It is the state that are not actually pulling their weights since primary and secondary education fall under their area of responsibilities.

SUBEB is just from primary 1 to JSS 3. We have unity schools which are under the control of FG.

Yeah. It makes no sense whatsoever.

Keyamo should know better, especially when you consider he is not just a lawyer but a Senior Advocate of Nigeria (SAN). The implications of making that Visa public compromises a lot for Asiwaju. It was absolutely unnecessary and ill informed.

With time sha, e go dey clearer

Thean wants to fully support Tinubu but he's aware of the backlash it's going to generate among hie Rivers indigenes.

It's very clear the man wants to support Tinubu but he knows many would rise against him.

Na only Peter Obi comments them they fact checked, and they are 95% proven to be correct. The man has truly set a standard and has proven himself to be the man for the job. Even peeps who had doubts about him, are now seeing the light. This is not Obi's doing, the is purely God doings....

Yes. Tinubu is not a popular choice in Rivers state. The irony is, the more support he gives Obi on the surface, the better for Tinubu.

I think it was raumdeuter who first suggested that Wike could be working for Tinubu and I thought he was crazy.

Here we are. cheesy

raumdeuter was right.

Having fallen out with Atiku, Wike would rather pitch his tent with Tinubu than with Obi.

And truly working for Obi would eventually benefit Tinubu.

Oasis remember that I'm staking that Obi would win the raw votes of the entire south.
I don't know what the spread would be like but I know that Obi would win more states of the south than any candidate and have the most raw votes, are you game? Do you doubt this?

The Country keeps sinking. Do you know that someone with a 100k salary right now would still struggle in this country. Our purchasing power parity is as low as can be.

Yes!! The only state I see PDP winning is maybe Delta state, due to okowa factor. But that's still very shaky sef. The highest a governor can rig in a state is about 30% of the vote although the last 2 state elections held has shown that rigging has dropped by 90%. No more case of over voting as bimodal accreditation has totally cancelled that. So if the last 2 elections in osun and ekiti are anything to go by, this election is set to be free and fair.

Which means Obi has to only worry about turnout not governor's electoral shenanigans.

Be specific with South Dude, coz he ain't gonna win a single State in SW and PDP gonna win some States in SS too.

Ain't care whether it's raw or with condom though, BAT will get more votes than Obi across Nigeria.... you game?

Every job pays well if you get into the right niche
Also, some employers will prudently offer what they can pay without story at the end of the month.

..... best way to sell it is through sponsorship and collaboration. Perhaps they can get it subsidised by Government or bought and distributed it free to Students.

Nigerians ain't gonna patronise with that kinda Amount..... too expensive for an average Nigerian Student.

If I may add, PDP is not Obis main competition in the South, APC is.

GloriousGbola, the grand plan for the campaign to teach STEM in mother tongue is to domesticate science. The aim is to guide students to adopt the use of the scientific method in their everyday life.

In other words, when they encounter any problem in life, instead of seeking spirtual solutions, the first thing that should come to their mind is, "what does science say about this thing?"

That's one of the aims of teaching science in the native language of Yoruba.

Science needs more people to unravel the limitless mysteries of nature, and a good science teacher can spark students' interest in learning science by using the local language to teach mostly in addition to some English.

There's a program aired on Radio Lagos (107.5) that teaches science in Yoruba. It's such an educating program!

More of such initiatives are needed in this part of the world, where superstition and religion dominate people's thoughts instead of science.

To solve the myriads of problems life throws at us, we should turn to science, not prayers (mere wishes).

The problem with everything you posted is simple.

There is far too much empirical and statistical evidence to the contrary

None of us on this thread were taught in the mother tongue. You were not taught in the mother tongue. Multiple generations before us were not taught in the mother tongue.

And I am not seeing any superstition on this thread.

But let us agree to disagree.

You want to boost education let people have children within their means. Not children who are already forced to be adults during their childhood, juggling books with managing their siblings, earning money for the house, etc.

Most renowned scientists did/do science in their mother tongue for the simple fact that it works. That's why millions of educators around the world teach science in students' mother tongue.

It's a simple issue.

And there are lots of superstitious beliefs on this thread. Most believe in juju, to start with.

They are now fact checking Atiku's comment too, because he finally attended a live Town Hall debate. Hope Emi Lo Kan will agree to a Town Hall Debate hosted by TVC or NTA, so we can fact check his every comment too.
