All Glory to God! This feeling is surreal!

I just recieved my passport now phew!
The stress of this canada journey is unending.

So I sent my passport through DHL on the 21st of November and it arrived VFS Lagos(where I did my biometrics) on the 22nd.

However, DHL said they do not carry out 2way courier service anymore as that was a new instruction from Vfs so I paid for the 1way return fee directly to Vfs.

I got an acknowledgement email from Vfs that day and i was getting subsequent email update from vfs on the whereabouts of my passport.

I got a message on the 30th of November that my passport had been couriered from Abuja and will be sent to me via their courier partner. My LOI and Counterfoil was yet to drop on my portal so I sent 2 webforms to IRCC and it dropped the next day 1st of December

I couldn't track my passport so I was in the dark until today I contacted vfs and they gave me my AWB number and told me to track on UPS website which I did and found out it had arrived in my city but they said they had issues with my address. So I walked into their office to retrieve it.

In everything you do, put God first cause he made all this possible at his own timing.

Congratulations lol

Congratulations once again bro,

Go and succeed.

johnstan:
Picked my ppt today guys and the feeling is still amazing.
Apparently it was processed in Beijing and not Nairobi so anyone could also send webforms/emails to Beijing for feedback regarding their application.

Don't give up y'all, it's worth it at the end.

A letter of sponsorship is not enough for a third-party sponsor. If he wants to sponsor you, let him pay part of your tuition from his bank account, transfer funds to your account and state why he wants to take such responsibility. Also, you can show proof of previous support received from him.
tenderjunkie:
Please I need help on the best way to provide proof of funds.

I got admitted into conestoga college.

It's a 2 year program and I have the funds to pay for the first year of tuition.

For the proof of funds, I have a family friend who has agreed to act as sponsor by making use of his bank account statement.

However, I have no family ties with this family friend. Will it be enough if he writes a letter stating his decision to be my sponsor.

If this will not suffice, what other alternatives do I have?

If he san transfer the whole money to your account, provide.letter of sponsorship and you write a well detailed SOP explaining the lump sum, I think you are good to go.

You were not untruthful, so it will not affect the outcome of your application. Moreover, the attached email contain the required information.

Hello My NL,
Please I have a urgent question house,I'm June 6th applicant and I'm so curious about my application cuz I felt I made a mistake during my application, there is a field that IRCC said I should upload a (work study document )and I dont know what that means so I email my school and they sent me an email that I only need my LOA so apply for Visa,so what I did was that I screenshoted the email I got from the school,I converted it to PDF and upload it there.so i dont know maybe this could affect my application by any chance...cuz its over 5months+ already and my application is still on eligibility review since Sept.
Please is there anybody who by any chance encount this kind of problem before. Thanks

Please did Vfs send you any email to acknowledge they have received your passport on the same day DHL delivered it to them?

I sent mine since Thursday 1/12/22 and I'm yet to get a response from Vfs to acknowledge they are with the passport, DHL didn't even send me a message I just tracked it and saw it has been delivered. I'm really worried. I sent direct to Abuja.

Hello,

Since you sent through a one-way delivery, how do you plan to get your passport from VFS after stamping?

Tuition and fees (aprox cad 14,500)
Living - 10k

So I sum at cad 25k

You may want to add $3000 as Miscellaneous Expenses.

Also, if the duration of your study is more than one year, you must in addition either show subsequent years' tuition fees or explain beyond reasonable doubt and provide solid evidence on how you would pay for subsequent years.

While it is easier to provide evidence of and explanation on how to pay subsequent years' tuition fees, the rate of acceptance is quite low for Nigerians. This is why it is advisable to provide and show the tuition fee for subsequent years.

I have been calling their 3 lines but it keeps ringing and saying the agents are busy. Don't know what to do at this point.

You can call their helplines and let them know you’ve sent a mail and haven’t gotten a response.
I booked mine over a call, as their site was having issues at the time i wanted to book an appointment

Scholarship is a good evidence and explanation. VOs don't know or accept you don't have a mean of paying for subsequent years.

If you explain you depend on working to finance your education, you are shooting yourself in the foot.

I will be willing to learn if you can show me a good number of people who got visa from Nigeria without providing good explanation or evidence on how they would pay subsequent years' tuition fees.

If you present any "paparazzi' as POF, you also get 'paparazzi' in your visa application decision. Although I don't know what you mean by 'paparazzi.'
