Very nice thread, thanks for putting this together.

As an aspiring first car owner with a budget of 3m-4.5m, I'm looking at getting a tokunbo toyota 2010 camry(SE Trim) as a favorite. I currently live in Ikorodu where we have quite a lot of high speed humps and well not so great roads. I was thinking an SUV as well but none seemed to appeal to me yet.
Based on your experience, is this recommended and/or can you please provide your recommendations? Will be very grateful for your guidance.

A jeep is your best bet but you will have to increase your budget to atleast 6.5m or 7m to to get a good one like 2008 to 2010 foreign used Toyota highlander unless you can go for older models like 2005 to 2007 highlander

That's a lot. I'm not ready to spend upto that amount right now. Please provide other recommendations within 5m budget

if u can change rim and tyre sizes to slightly increase ride height,u shld be fine too

Any concerns about the 2014 MDX one should be worried about? I understand the MDX had major changes from 2014.. like the 3.5L engine as against 3.7L in previous model.
