The Chatham House - About Me. by alanto: 9:00am On Dec 06, 2022
Some people are asking about Chatham and its importance to our political leaders....
So I copied the about me page of the their website... I would have copied from wikipedia but its a long read.
alanto:

About us
We are an independent policy institute and a trusted forum for debate and dialogue. Our research and ideas help people understand our changing world.

Chatham House helps people, societies and governments understand and adapt to seismic change.

We provided thought leadership on key issues that defined the 20th century. We helped craft the multilateral institutions and mechanisms of global financial stability after the Second World War. We gave African independence leaders a platform throughout decolonization. We were key to Anglo-Soviet track-two diplomacy initiatives. Our research influenced China’s establishment of low-carbon economic zones. And the Chatham House Rule has helped foster open dialogue and ideas-sharing.

Chatham House has been a source of independent analysis, trusted dialogue and influential ideas for one hundred years. Today, at the beginning of our second century, we continue to offer solutions to global challenges and actively seek to empower the next generation to change their world.

Our three second century goals are intended to enable and build peaceful, sustainable and inclusive societies. We are privileged to hold a long-standing position of trust on the world stage and we seek to use this to champion positive change for people everywhere. We do this through:

Events
Chatham House events offer unique access to thought leadership, best practice and insight from world leaders, policy influencers and academics.

We deliver webinars, conferences and simulations that help connect diverse, engaged audiences and build momentum for positive change.

We are home to the Chatham House Rule, used around the world to enable participants at events to speak more freely on sensitive topics.

Publishing
Our independent, peer reviewed reports, research papers and briefings offer new ideas and policy recommendations on challenges facing the world.

We also publish research in our highly regarded journals, International Affairs and the Journal of Cyber Policy. The World Today magazine showcases the latest news and opinion. Our Insights book series provides new perspectives on an uncertain world.

We also share commentary on current affairs through our podcast, Undercurrents.

Expertise
Chatham House provides authoritative commentary on world events through our network of policy experts. We inform public discourse by briefing governments, media and the general public using clear analysis and accessible, multimedia content.

Leadership
Through The Queen Elizabeth II Academy for Leadership in International Affairs, we offer emerging leaders the opportunity to benefit from leadership training and research mentoring.

These fellows bring diverse perspectives to the work of the institute and form a growing alumni network of future policy practitioners.

Which means Chatham house was paid to host the event

No Nigerian politician should go to Chatham House again rather they should satisfactorily talk to the Nigerian electorate first if they must go there.

You have started to degrade a very reputable and respected organization because they associate with the one you detest... Has Obi or Atiku not been UK in recent time? Did Atiku not owe $5m gbese just to travel to US?

So back in 1931 that Ghandi visited the Chatham House, he paid them too

Nonsense
We didn't see any tangible imperfect of what the Chatham house and the agbadorians are doing in our political sphere.
Imagine full grown up Men making a noise in Chatham house grin grin
Passing paper Left, right and center but the incoherent down payment, APV couldn't still make use of it grin
Show of shame.

Nothing degrading there. They host events. It's there in what you pasted.
What I'm pointing out is it wasn't an invite from Chatham house. Rather, it was a paid event

Cornflakes, golden morn, flour, garri, fufu, semo, white amala, Even in your own muddy region, okpa, fufu, starch, the other one they sell cassava with sliced coconut are all eaten by your people when there is shortage of human meat so how you come out to insult agbado and cassava baffles me and that's why I think you people supporting obi are not only dumb but really pathetically foolish. And to answer your question I think you should direct the question to Akpororo, Akpororo got an invite for the same event that obi went uninvited so he should know better... Obidense for a reason.

You need to read what you write about Buhari and Tinubu in your posts... You are one of those following bad market with lies and propaganda
Re: The Chatham House - About Me. by femisplash: 10:38am On Dec 06, 2022
Peter Obi travelled abroad to seek donations, Atiku went abroad to take pictures on the streets of Washington. Tinubu travelled abroad to consult people that matters.

Do you read what you write before you do?
You claim I'm following bad market.
How do you know which is bad market and which is not?
You get paid to market what you don't understand and you accuse another person if following bad market
The irony!!
