Amaechi from Ikwerre in Rivers East Senatorial zone ruled for 8years and Wike, from Ikwerre in same Senatorial district will be ruling 8years by next year. The north begged the Southerners to allow a northerner to complete the remaining four years of Yaradua but they refused, they forced GEJ to contest.
