Minister of State, Labour and Employment and Director, Public Affairs and Spokespersons, Tinubu/Shettima Presidential Campaign Council, Festus Keyamo (SAN) on Friday said as a lawyer, he never singled out Asiwaju Bola Tinubu for special criticisms during his time as governor of Lagos State.

Some members of the opposition have claimed that Keyamo is finding it difficult defending Tinubu, who is the presidential candidate of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) owing to his actions against him in the past.

However, speaking with DAILY INDEPENDENT, Keyamo said "I will be very glad to know which particular criticisms they are talking about because I have seen some fake ones floating around".

"On the issue of the sack of civil servants when Tinubu was governor, I think I was just a lawyer in one of those cases. My chambers was briefed. I cannot really remember because it is more than 20 years ago. I have done thousands of cases".

"I don't think there was anytime I singled out Asiwaju Bola Tinubu for special treatment or criticisms. I was very critical of public officers generally".

"To say that I now find it very difficult job to defend Asiwaju now is very comical. In fact, it's one of the things I take delight in doing based on what Nigeria stands to benefit from his presidency".

How can it be when you both reason alike

Simply because Festus Keyamo has made himself a fool devoid of reasoning in defending every evil of emilokan.

Tinubu sacked workers as governor and Keyamo was among those who fought him as a junior lawyer in the chamber he worked for back then, now he is saying his brain cannot remember.

I remember when Keyamo's younger brother came to AIT(like about 20 years ago) and was saying Keyamo is a crook and a liar and only works for the highest bidder, I was so angry with the boy thinking the boy was paid to do that.

Here we are today, the boy told the truth about Keyamo - Keyamo has been working for Tinubu as the highest bidder, reason why OBJ fought both of them
