Last week, one of my friends in the UK hinted me about something that keeps giving me sleepless nights and terrible unrest. She's a student there and we went to secondary school together. She happened to see my hubby on a dating website. She sent me screenshot of his profile and my husband pictures are all there. Everything. She's on the dating app too.

I confronted my husband after several investigation of the geniuty of what I know. He only yield in after I sent him all evidence that I have. Now he tells me dating app is a norm in the UK and everyone is there. He said he's only there to socialize and meet people, especially Nigerian, but not for dating.

This has caused some issues between us as I wasn't really satisfied with this excuse. I'm tired of constantly thinking my husband is cheating on me.

I love my husband and he's the only man I've ever known.

sister U should not have confronted him at dis stage now, be very patient, join him there & normalised, when e sure say u dont get residency & correct job, then confront am with evidence before dump his a**

Woman that’s a lonely environment. He has no family. No friends. No acquaintances. It is boring out there. So you think that he won’t feel bad sometimes knowing that he’s there in the cold to make life better for his family while he couldn’t even enjoy himself because he wants to remain loyal.

The friend who told you this is surely one of the enemies of your happiness. That said, your happiness shouldn't be affected that something you can't control. How can you be sad over someone else's behavior?. Your husband is about to cheat and you're dying over that? Please get some thinking caps on. Just find a way to go meet him and the emotional attachment he craves would go down.

to be honest, avoid that your friend. You and your husband will face many trials but nothing insurmountable, it is a fact of marriage. His being on dating app is bad but both of you should settle it inside the house and any decision you take should be done inside the house. Your UK friend is lonely just like other UK girls so she doesn't understand why you with access to correct guys in Nigeria are tying down a handsome man already in the UK. Call him, shout on his head well well but fire ahead with the marriage, your already at advantage with him and he knows how far if he should fūck up when you get there

My dear, he spoke the truth. Dating app is a norm in western world especially in uk. However, he’s doing it kos of loneliness and freedom of you not there but trust me once you guys reunite it will stop. Thank God you knows about it just increase your communication with him. I guess his conscience is judging him already. This is nothing to worry yourself about.

The comments from most men here are really disturbing. Why marry when you intend disrespecting the marriage by cheating? You not only disrespect your spouse but by that, you are breaking trust. Shame on the men that see nothing wrong in this. If reverse were the case, you would not advise in this manner.
Op truth is your husband has been a cheat before now and he would hardly change.
I do not know how you can get him to change except by strongly registering your displeasure and letting him know cheating is a deal breaker for you (if it is for you) and there would be consequences and part of which is you are willing to walk away from a union he doesn't respect (people are not really mindful when there are no dire consequences for their actions) or you decide save the marriage and live with it while keep praying for him to change.
You cannot change an adult unless they want to themselves.

Always good to see we still have a minute responsible men in this Nigeria. It is the fact that they can almost die trying to convince you that their randy pricks are the standard.

The marriage is in shambles already no doubt.
Just stay calm and don’t confront him anymore, round up your NYSC and join him there. When you get there, make sure you insist on using protection anytime he wants to come near you. Try to get a job no matter how menial it might be, be collecting money from him daily and save each penny. In between, Join dating apps and start looking for both young and old guys, enjoy yourself. When you are financially stable, dump his ass and move to another area. At least your effort in the relationship won’t be in vain.

If he trys to go physical on you, call the police and send him packing. The house will be given to you in court, remember western laws are more advantageous to women.

But if you insist on staying in the marriage, still join dating apps and have fun but be careful with STIs and STDs. If you end up getting pregnant, don’t bother about the paternity and just continue living.
