This is totally untrue! Lekki toll gate shootings was popular because it was caught on camera on livestream. It's as simple as that.

It's popular because we all saw unharmed civilians being shot at by soldiers. We were all on Chelsea thread that night and we all shuddered at what we watched, the callousness exhibited by combatant soldiers shooting at unharmed soldiers some of whom were even assuring themselves that with the Nigerian flag in their hands, the soldiers won't shoot at them.

We are talking of of live shooting which was streamed by DJ switch on IG and anybody with a conscience shuddered at what they saw happening in real time.

Some of us who stay in Naija didn't even know about the Oyigbo killings till days after, yet people like u abroad watched that lekki shootings in real time that night of 20th October 2020.

I just can't understand how this man failed soo monumentally. Was it ill health? Old age? Or ineptitude? I remember that it took this man 6 full months, like half a year to select his cabinet. That showed he wasn't even ready for leadership. Now people want us to continue from where they stopped.
