Whether it is enough will depend on the ECO

You could have

1.Included your divorce letter clearly stating joint parental responsibility and child care arrangements

2. A letter plus passport from the father stating his consent and travel arrangements plans to ensure he keeps up with his end of parental responsibility

3. Your cover letter explaining the situation so it's clear what the arrangements are

4. Additional documents from perhaprs the court stating this arrangement is feasible- Almost like an affidavit but signed by a proper Judge or someone in that capacity

5.Letters from your dependant previous school or hospital attesting to same arrangements.

The list is inexhaustible

My dependent just got NSF, and am confused what to send, I and the father of dependent are not together, but we both have parental responsibility as filled in uk application. The father is a US citizen. I just sent the father’s us passport. But am thinking that might not do because with us passport u can only stay in uk without visa for 6mths. So they will need more or to show that mother is sole responsibility, which was stated otherwise in application and interview.

will the US passport be ok? Or it might be denial for the dependent? Or I get sole responsibility from court( but filled both divorced have parental responsibilities)and attached agn,After attaching us passport today

I got the Sheffield escalation mail on Monday but till now nothing has changed. I am thinking of visiting the TLS center, do you think it is a good idea?

Escalation takes 15working days, just give it time.

Is it better than the others? I got admission from all of them. I just don't want to pick the wrong school. Loughborough is a Top10 Uni and I don't want to miss out on that.

I strongly suspect you will be asked to provide your 90days statement of account prior to visa application date after you have provided proof of consent from the child's father. Iv had 2 people in this situation and that was what the visa office requested eventually. I'm not saying it must happen to you too but there's a strong possibility. They want to be extremely sure you have the funds to take care of the child alone.
