It has nothing to do with the medical. If IRCC had not received the upfront medical, they would not send you a passport request. So, take the medical issue out of your mind. First, pick up your passport. Maybe the counterfoil has been placed on your passport, and the refusal letter is just mixed up. If your fear is confirmed, then something changed after the passport request. Maybe your application was revisited, and the decision was reversed. Hence, the two months of wait for your passport. Did you submit new information during the processing, for example, a program change? Is the admission letter still valid? You did the correct thing in requesting reconsideration. I hope you wrote ‘Urgent’ in the subject line and explained it in detail. If the analyst that reads your reconsideration sees it as something not worthy of reconsideration, they will not pass it to the VO. So, you must emphasize the error or oversight of the VO. Also, order a GCMS note so you can address the issue adequately if your reconsideration request is not granted. Let us know the outcome, and reach out if you need professional assistance. emmylin: You can get a dollar card or virtual USD card (the likes of Chipper cash) for this. Naira debit cards won't work because of the $20 transaction limit 1 Like |

Hello everyone, Just received my notes and eligibility indicates review required, does anyone know what that means? Should I be worried? Has there been anyone whose notes indicated that and they got PPR? |

@ Franklynjonin, You will be qualified for PTA from any commercial bank of your interest if you have valid return ticket of your choice airline. However, how much you access and within what time it takes depends on your banker and who you really know that can push the transaction for you faster. While Access bank,Gtbank and 1st bank will load (pay) the FX on a dollar card with maximum threshold of 4kUSD, Zenith bank avails maximum of 2,500USD cash. You can travel with a maximum of 10k USD and you must not have a Canadian bank account prior to your trip. You don't need covid 19 vaccine or arrivecan to embark on your trip to Canada I arrived Canada two days ago (This Thursday).I'm writing authoritatively from the place of experience and knowledge. I hope this helps. All the best!!!!! FranklynJonin: 7 Likes |

October 11th applicant here too. Although my daughter did upfront medicals and it was updated to pass on the 4th of November. Am believing God that the coming week will favor her application, the mercy and grace of God will locate it and it will end in praise.. The school has given us up till 15th of December to indicate if she is joining them by January. [qwuote author=chigozieevans post=119059733] Oct 11th till today should be about 9 weeks and 4 days. Moyosore019: Actually, my resumption date is Sept 2023 not Jan. So I don't think I will bother contacting the school for now since I have about 8 months before school resumes. But I will advise you not to defer your admission just yet since your resumption date is Jan 9th. You can wait till the end of the year and watch what might happen. Who knows, you could receive a positive response from IRCC anytime. 1 Like |

Praying it ends in praise. My younger brother is October 28th because we wanted to do the NSE so we were getting ready hence the late Application...not knowing that NSE was nonexistent. He has December 13 to respond to the email from his school on his Study Permit Application. And they just started his ELIGIBILITY REVIEW on Wednesday evening. NGOZIGLORI: 1 Like |
