To be fair, ‘Arab’ is a cultural term rather than a geographical term. For instance, a Yoruba person representing Nigeria at the Olympics is correctly identified as a Nigerian, but culturally she is Yoruba.
Likewise, Morocco is properly identified as an African country, with the majority of its population being culturally Arab
