@ Franklynjonin,

You will be qualified for PTA from any commercial bank of your interest if you have valid return ticket of your choice airline.

However, how much you access and within what time it takes depends on your banker and who you really know that can push the transaction for you faster.

While Access bank,Gtbank and 1st bank will load (pay) the FX on a dollar card with maximum threshold of 4kUSD, Zenith bank avails maximum of 2,500USD cash.

You can travel with a maximum of 10k USD and you must not have a Canadian bank account prior to your trip.

You don't need covid 19 vaccine or arrivecan to embark on your trip to Canada

I arrived Canada two days ago (This Thursday).I'm writing authoritatively from the place of experience and knowledge.

I hope this helps.

All the best!!!!!

Thanks for the info bro.what where you asked to shos at the Point of Entry?

I just Got my LOA Yesterday from Conestoga College, but this their Option Of paying Acceptance fees within 1 Month Period,
AND also to balance the first semester fees before June 2023 is given me Headache, I dont know if i should Wait for the other 2 school to view available options, and the 1,500,000 deposit is non Refundable
pls i need advice from Conestoga College applicant how they went about it

Hello there.
You can pay the $1,500 CAD if you have a Nigerian DOM account to make the processing faster for you to secure a seat for the program; this can give you an edge in your application for your Canadian visa. You can also get a refund for the $1,500 CAD if you were refused your study visa, but the school will hold $200. If you pay the $1,500 and you get your acknowledgment from Conestoga, you can then apply for your Canadian study visa.
Good luck smiley

Congratulations!!!

Pls what does the Request letter in your timeline mean?

Between the time that you got the request letter and your correspondence/ppr letter, did you send them mails to get the final decision or you just waited?

Yes you can go for an upfront medical exam, it’s is necessary because instead of waiting for medical request, when you meet your eligibility requirement, they will just send PPR instead of medical request.

Hello good day everyone.

I have a question to ask

A friend of mine applied to Connestoga and is currently awaiting the school’s decision.
His parents are his sponsor and he’s recently married, he’s been working since April this year.

What would you advise is the best way to apply for himself and later apply for his partner using the SOWP route ?

She can use the LOA to apply for visa and reapply letter when her visa is out. I did it for my son in Conestoga

I mean you can apply for visa with the LOA without paying acceptance fee. When your visa is out, you will do the needful. I did it for my son in Conestoga.

There’s no time you won’t have to do medical exam, but be rest assured it’s not the medical exam that’s delaying decision. At this stage, I think you should start bombarding them with emails and webforms, telling them why you need a decision because classes will resume soon. Meanwhile I’ll advise you do an upfront.

It will end in praise
