Good day everyone, I bought a return ticket just for the sake of pta but I wasn’t eventually given. I’m trying to request for a refund and I was told I would only be getting 90k out of 320k. My question now is, is there any other way I can get my money back without requesting for refund from the airline. Like maybe selling it off or other things, thanks. |

hayoBams: Hiii, I don’t have an answer to your question but pls if you don’t mind, why was your application for PTA rejected and how long did it take CBN to approve? |

Oldfashioned145: Pls confirm that the airline won’t require a transit visa for the stopovers before you book - except of course you have valid visas to enter these countries |
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 22 by Thomsyne(m): 5:45pm On Dec 11, 2022 |
padie77: Let your friend’s dad do a sponsorship letter, show some commitment by sending some money to you or paying some more of your fees. Then show proof of personal relationship, pictures, chat, etc. It’s a long shot but having this at least would go a long way. 1 Like |

Good Evening Everyone Happy Sunday Please I'd would like to ask if I can use a friend as a sponsor in applying for a study permit. We've been friends for a while now and I was wondering if it would be accepted. I understand he would have to write a sponsorship letter and have it notarized. But is this all the document that would be needed? Thank you |
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 22 by FranklynJonin: 6:20pm On Dec 11, 2022 |
You have to show proof and receipts of the money have previously paid towards your education and upkeep, you have to provide letter of Sponsorship and affidavit of support stating the amount he will be giving each year. Hope this helps. Eseosajoy: |

You have to show proof and receipts of the money he have previously paid towards your education and upkeep, you have to provide letter of Sponsorship and affidavit of support stating the amount he will be giving each year. Just show proof that he has been paying for stuffs for you. For your late dad's landed property just sign an affidavit that the land has been given to you as the first son or something. Also include the surveyor plan and and maybe the current worth of the land. padie77: 1 Like |

Hello house, please my apologies if this has been answered before but I need some clarification concerning applying for study permit on the new portal. If one wants to apply for their spouse and dependants (minors) at the same time they are applying for their study permit, what do they apply for on the new portal for the spouse and kids? Is it visiting visa? Thanks in advance |
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 22 by amila20042001: 8:19pm On Dec 11, 2022 |
It's better you use old portal which has provision for Spousal Open Work Permit for your wife. Then you can apply for study permit for kids above 5 years and vv for kids below 5yrs damsel17: |
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 22 by Pace6: 8:35pm On Dec 11, 2022 |
damsel17: Why not just use old portal that has provision to apply for entire family? Goodluck |

pufframmy: Is there something you want to avoid that is making this trouble you? Your admission will be revoked if you fail to meet the conditions on your letter of acceptance. You can always re-apply for another or same intake tho, pay another application fee, wait to be accepted and then forward the new LOA to IRCC IRCC will verify if your admission is genuine and deny your application if it is fake but not if your admission is withdrawn, this is the reason why someone can upload an updated LOA to IRCC when they defer their admission and still get their visa approved. 1 Like |

You mean they held your passport for almost 3 months? Maybe you should first receive your passport, then if there’s no stamp on it you can apply for your gcms notes, that way you know what the main issue is. If it’s that all measures were met then you apply for reconsideration. Simti: |

Good day everyone, I made a post about my medicals not being updated even after it being up to a form.. o followed advise on mails and Web forms, hoping for a positive outcome from them too, I remember raising a Webform for my updated passport through lagos vfs and got a reply from the Nairobi office weeks later. The Web forms and emails i raised for my medical update and to expedite the process I used URGENT as subject.. while waiting for a positive feedback, time isn't also my favourite suite and I'm scared because my program runs once every year and that's January If I miss this I'll have to wait for another year and it's not really cool because I've differed before. I saw some people saying methods like contacting an Mp I don't know how to go about this what do I do? and if I were to go the mp route how do I do that too? The wait is kind of killing and I don't want to miss this, also I know there might be lots of people with this same predicament, how do we handle it cause we don't have time, if this week goes by and no response it's not safe anymore. Thank you |

Is it possible for an application to be updated as refused after PPR and passport still being stamped upon delivery? |
